You miss the point - it was fantasy, with a thread of historical fact to put it into context. I thought it was a clever book and was greatly entertained by it, but recognised that the dialogue and 'thoughts' of Cloughie were pure fiction.

the film and the book are two very different things. The book: dark and self proclaimed fiction but i think worthwhile. The film: much lighter and basically the Brian Clough story part I. both have their value, Cloughie was a complex character and that deserves to be explored, I'm just happy that it means that he is recognised because the man should never be forgotten.

some of you miss the pint of my writing , that first line attracted you to read it and I probably meant it.
After all I was around when this was going off andthis is my point of view as a Forest fan.
I have failed with my essay or I shouldn't have to say this

and I suppose I'm not a Football Club Board/Chairman/Hangeronners fan
