I can’t believe that after all the good work Forest have done in bring in 9 quality players they are yet again left frustrated through the complete lack of thought and the inept intelligent thinking of some certain board members who are consistently ruining every chance Forest have in making massive strides forward. Mark Arthur whose name continually crops up seems to be at the centre of most things related to failed bids and funding alike within the transfer market, yet Nigel Doughty for all his power continues to employ a seemingly bad influence, why?
Year after year Forest always seem to adapt the attitude that we will always have to “make do” policy and because of this the fear of relegation is never far away. We now have in my opinion a decent manager who wants success and to push this great club forward his rebuilding has already begun to take shape but, all this could be undone in a second for lack of defensive cover and something the club has known about for quite sometime, come on Forest please don’t fall in to the same trap again!!
Mark Arthur and to some degree David Pleat are the black spots or cancer on this club which need to be rooted out and I fear until this happens things will never change leaving Forest a nearly club and always looking over it’s shoulder.

Just merely trying to point out what i think are the root causes to our problems year after year, having said that i am very optimistic and looking forward to the season ahead under Billy Davies with a positive attitude.

No , but judging by our past history in the transfer market at certain times of the year (excluding the 9 we have just signed), and the way Mark Arthur always seems to be at the centre of the debate and his well known run in's with Davies i would say i,m just putting 2 and 2 together.
I know for a fact that most people on here and other forums have nothing good at all to say about this man!!

.Do you know for absolute definite how Forest chase their targets ? I do :smug: When has Arthur had a run in with Davies by the way ?, Davies has had one serious run in with a member of Forest's administration and emerged a second best.

please enlighten me has to what impact Arthur has on the transfers of Nottingham forest because you sound like a man who is in the the know?
Do you personally know him, are you friends?
I am rightly or wrongly making assumptions based on what i hear , but then a lot of rumours are based and created this way.
I am not new to Forest i am a season ticket holder for 17yrs now and every thing bad always leads back to one name, Mark Arthur
