LTLF Player of the Season!

The Player of the Season thread gave me an idea for this, why don't we have our own player of the season? Much like they do at Forest but LTLF Maybe the winner of it every season could have his picture up near the LTLF logo for next season and carry it on like that every year from now (MODS you would have to do this).

If anyone has any idea's for additional things as to how this could work please feel free to comment

But I'm going to start it off with a poll so please feel free to vote. The vote will end on the tuesday after the Southampton game to give everyone a chance to vote.

He had a poor start just like everyone else, but has been superb in alot of games this season.

I think he may be out on loan but I'm not sure to be honest, maybe he's playing more reserve games now. But your right he was doing really well, well much better than Chambers

Chris Cohen, Wes Morgan or Earnshaw. I picked Cohen because he has been consistent throughout the season and is the only one who really has not had any critics.

I do remember early on in the season Wes (in my eyes harshly) got a lot of criticism. He didn't play great but he wasn't as bad as people were implying. In my eyes Chris Cohen has been consistent throughout and the fact he gets selected ahead of McGugan on occassions of late, shows how good he is.

I meant that Wes has been fantastic recently and has come into his own this season, while Cohen, for all his effort hasn't really been rewarded with an outcome.

Does that make sense?

I always used to hate (sorry - HATE) the idea at school that there was a prize for "most improved pupil".

This simply rewards being crap last year.

The guy who is consistently 2nd in the class gets diddly.

The kid who f****d around and came bottom last year, who this year comes 5th gets "most improved".

I think that's why I chose not to vote for him, because a lot of the time, his constant running doesn't really result in anything.

Although he never fails to put in the effort, it isn't always as effective as Wes.

Wes Morgan. Not because of his ability its because he puts so much into evergame with those last ditch challnges look were we would be without him now alot closer to charlton! 2nd Cohen,3rd Anderson(even though he has had his injurys when hes played hes looked very good)

I don't see what you're getting at. I don't see how one persons effort can be more 'effective' than someone else's.

What I will say is that Chris Cohen is yet to have a bad game this season and that in all of the games we've won he's had a massive part to play. He's chipped in with the odd goal, he's been as creative as anyone else and his closing down in the midfield generally gives us a much better tempo. The amount of times he's (almost single handedly) dragged our midfield through games has been immense and therefore he deserves our POTY, in my opinion.

It's a two horse race between Big Wes and Cohen, but who will come out on top? We shall have to wait and see 8)
