Lost ticket

My mate has lost his ticket for the Birmingham game he is a season ticket holder and can prove who he is, but they refuse to give him another one. Now i can understand the reason why they wouldn't , but if there is complete proof why won't they?

Some times this club is so f***ing frustrating

Can he prove that hes brought one? That normally helps.

When I purchased my Preston tickets over the phone I was worried that we may not receive them due to the Christmas post. I was told that if I didn't receive them for any reason, I should contact the ticket office and they would issue duplicate tickets.

It might be as simple as calling the ticket office with your booking / client ref and payment details and explaining the situation again.

It should be on his client ref. The thinking is that someone else will use the ticket to gain entry and then go and sit somewhere else knowing the game will have plenty of seats left. If we had automatic ticketing (it would be a nightmare and never work like Watford and Man City) but they could cancel it. To be honest it's a bit of a nonsense but they can re-issue a ticket should they wish. This will be about using your diplomatic negotiation skills and escalate it to the Managers if you get no joy. If it's a con job then you deserve a life ban!

S'pose non-delivery is different to losing a ticket.

Bear in mind Forest won't reissue a lost season ticket without charging for another one (reduced depending on how many games left). Unlike comparable clubs, who will reissue them for an admin fee.

What would stop people giving their ticket to a mate, or selling it, then telling the ticket office they lost it and getting another one for free?

I agree that on the whole the Forest ticket office can be less than competent to say the least, but I have to admit I can see there point on this one.

Yeah, it's true. Although if they'd invested in digital turnstiles it'd be easy enough to deny access to the 'lost' ticket regardless... but with the current system there's really no way of doing that.

I accidentally threw 5 tickets away for this game (in the bin with some rubbish). Went to the ticket office first thing on the morning of the game and they refused to issue replacement tickets!

However, after kicking off and sending them an email, they've agreed to refund me the full £65! Result!

Thank you Nottingham Forest Football Club.

People need to take more responsibility for their actions. He lost the ticket, it's his fault not the clubs.

Their probably not even allowed to reissue them with all the post Hillsborough rules and laws to prevent banned supporters attending games.

If they did they'd end up with hundreds "going missing" every home game. Especially games like Derby and Play off semi's. There would be more people in the ground than it can hold.

I might go and buy a couple of shirts from the club shop, then tell them I lost them on the way home and get my money back.

I was robbed of a ticket a few years ago and spoke to forest and they sorted it all out, fab i thought. The man that helped me was a bloke called Bexon, good man. I'm sure the fcuks that buy a couple of shirts then loose them on the way home and ask for replacements will make it more difficult for the majority of us honest folk, but hey, why not go live in america or pakistan xx

This happened to me yonks ago. They won't give you a new one. I had to pay my way until the insurance claim came through, then Forest replaced it, with about 1 game of the season left. Pain in the arse, but you can see that they're trying not to get ripped off.

earthworm, does your signature mean you want england pulled out of the eurpoean zone, the united nations and nato?

It means yes to nations and international cooperation, and no to supranational bodies and the seeds of world government.
