Lorenzo Lucca

I do remember Silenzi but was a bit too young to remember Rosario... so looked up his stats.
18 in 126 for Norwich
8 in 59 for Coventry
then we bought him in March 1993 with literally weeks of the season to go.

There was no way he'd get any goals to help us.

Silenzi was so shit he barely played

There was a video online of us passing it around the back about the 60th minute mark and it was broken down of the options each player had and what they chose. The attackers were up the pitch and defenders had no choice but to pass it around themselves untill they eventually went long. So I think he will have support, if we can get it to him.

From what I could see if they can get it to Luca and he can knock it down it essentially takes 2 of the opposition players out of the game, one to mark luca and one that needs to mop up the knock down. Where as with jesus they just needed to man mark him as he wasn't getting on the end of long ball or a cross. Essentially creating space for everyone else to play maybe? Well thats my hopeful theory but most likely a load of utter bullocks.

I think it may take him a few matches to get used to the pace of the Premier league and there might be a few poor looking touches in those early games. I hope that we show a little bit of patience and get behind him. Good luck in the Garibaldi Lorrenzo.

No, there's a lot of merit to it. Quite often when there's a player who is so good in the air the instructions are to let them win the first ball but to get bodies around them to pick up the seconds. We just have to make sure we're doing the same.

f*** it, I’m all in on lucky!
I predict him to fire us to mid table security, inspire us to splashing out the full whack on him only for dyche to get the sack and he never plays for us again.

If he does turn it on wood style, the good thing is most nowadays most managers play with a target man so he should fit right in

Probably too strong of a hand, that's what drove Nuno to dive onto his sword.
Been thinking about it and I reckon that Elanga was what finally drove Nuno mad. He loves a fast forward and at West Hame he now has Summerville, and he was touting for Traore again, but I guess they have pretty much spent out at the Hammers now, so he'll have to stick with what he's got.

Good luck to Lucky. I imagine there is no chance he was registered in time to play tomorrow, but hopefully he can bag a few this season.

I f*cking hope he was. He was here 12 hours before the deadline.
Those dot matrix printers and dial up internet connections are woefully slow.
If he is registered in time by some fluke, Dyche will probably deploy him at left back to give Neco a break.
I’ve completely lost all faith in the Ginger Pretender to do anything to make sense from a football perspective.

I said before the Braga game I couldn't work out what he was trying to do. I posted the formation and I was correct but it took me ages to work out simply because it didn't make any sense

I’m seeing this and don’t have your pro/semipro insights.
Why can’t Dyche?
Is his arrogance cancerous?

Just because they didn't announce it until later doesn't mean enough paperwork wasn't necessarily with the league by noon.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow lunchtime

There's without doubt an arrogance to him. Some might say he's earned it with what he's managed to achieve elsewhere with massive limitations.

I'm definitely starting to believe his philosophy and methodology has reached it's expiration date within modern football and players so it's possible the answer to your question is yes.

Nottingham's dirty secret
I hope he plays tomorrow.

There's not really any pressure as all he has to do is make a 2 yard pass & he's already better than most of our summer recruits.

What are your thoughts Notcher?
It's a solid gameplan and shape for for a 4-4-2. I've got no issues with it and as a player, if he produced that as his concept to me I'd have no issues with it.

There was something that immediately gave me cause for concern though. He's deploying a lot of the same methodology but within our 4-2-3-1. It highlighted why some of the things we're doing aren't working because he's using the same principles but for a different formation.
