Listening to the game

Hello all,

I no longer live in Nottingham, how do people outisde of Nottingham listen to the game?

BBC Radio Nottingham online comes up with an audio error about 'legal issues with streaming the current content' (the footy in other words).

I dont have the funds right now to either a) pay for a DAB radio or b) pay to subscribe to the Forest player.

Any ideas?

Think forest player is the only way. Its only £30 for the season though isn't it? Save up for a month and order it.
 
Yeah BBC Notts don't broadcast via the internet so Forest player is you're only option I'm afraid.

Edit: You could try BBC Bradford but probs be the same scenario and even if it did work you'd have to listen to the Bradford bias.
 
I was half-hoping the radio app I have on my phone might be a loophole but it has some country show on.

Fortunately I do live in Nottingham so have the old skool radio on.
 
any streams for the games tonight anyone?


p.s aren't cup games free?
 
I'm up in Scotland and not re-subscribed to forest player yet and i've got the commentary... :0
 
Phone a friend in nottingham to leave their phone by the radio... preferably on speaker phone et voila - commentary!!
 
i have subscribed to forest player , but , changed my email and now have forgotton my password - now i cannot log in and there seems to be no way to contact them to sort it out - i can console myself that the 3.99 per month i see on my visa bill seems to be the full transfer budget for bringing in new players so at least i am making a contribution...!!!

Same.. (im not in scotland! but havent resubscribed :p ) i think from memory they dont do the renewals until 1st September so you should have it until then
 
commentary for the games is licensed differently for internet then radio - so BBC Nottingham aren't allowed to stream the football commentary online - the same applies to most league clubs, as they usually license the games to their 'player' service so they can make money out of it...

that said i believe on of the other forest forums has an audio stream of the owners reactions to the game - and purely as a side affect you can here his radio loud and clear
 
If you know somebody in Notts, get them to put a radio tuner in their PC, and stream MP3 from it for you.
