I don't know what the situation with the 17 year old lad Brian Madjo at Villa is who could be one for the future. He's played for Luxembourg at youth level, switched to England U17 and then switched back again to Luxembourg again. I've got no idea where that currently leaves his eligiblity.

Madjo went the other way Notch. Played for Luxembourg in some friendlies then switched to England youth. He can still play for England, Luxembourg or Cameroon. If he progresses into a regular PL player, he would almost certainly play for England at some point.

Considering playing for Poland and Ghana respectively which makes the situation even more dire. After the established group who are all 28+ you are down to Tammy Abraham (also 28) and Delap. Then Divin Mubama or Jay Stansfield. After that, it's literally kids or Championship players.

The less players get called up for 3 weeks mindless friendlies the better.
New manager, and new playing style will benefit from time spent on the training pitch.
These international breaks are nothing but disruptive to the season.
 
A few weeks ago who wasn't good enough to empty the bins and now we are discussing England call ups, things change fast 😂 .

Yes. He makes bizarre selection decisions but it’s not on the basis of a big 6 bias. Plenty of other players made the WC squad and plenty of big 6 stars missed out (eg Palmer and Foden) There’s no conspiracy around MGW he just (imo wrongly) preferred other players.

Didn't stop Ivan Toni being called up for the WC squad - evidence that even hiding in a Bedouin tent doesn't warrant exclusion from TT's plans.

It’s bizarre until you factor in that TT is only focused on the next 2 years and so players at 28/29 even Kane at 33 are ok for his “project”. TT won’t give a monkeys if England haven’t got a cf with more than 3 caps likely to play in the 2030 wc when he leaves in 2028.

Tis true sadly. This is also a negative of having a foreign manager who is going to care far less about it.
 
Forget his name but on 5 Live this morning the football correspondent unprompted suggested Delap has a good chance of being included today. (No mention of MGW though)

I think MGW has got an invisibility cloak which is only active when Tuchel is wearing his glasses.
 
Really couldn't give a flying whatever who Tuchel picks, I stopped watching England friendlies many years ago and don't get excited watching them in tournaments. Call me an old curmudgeon bastard - but if England stopped playing games altogether I wouldn't miss it. Sh*t show.

Why does the price matter? If they turn into good players for us they are worth every penny whether they are worth £50m or £5m.
