Lewis' goal yesterday:

Just saw it on sky. It was a bit like a Collymre goal but Collymore did it a lot more often.

Mcgugan has bulked up a lot this year and added strength on the ball to his list of assets. I hope psycho was watching.

I believe Lewis has the potential to be a great footballer yet it will depend upon how he applies himself to the role he's growing into. He's still young but with the right kind of training and guidance to develop his game he can become a big asset to Forest.

He still has a long way to go before I would compare him to the likes of Stan Collymore.

Quality goal by a player with tonnes of potential.

If he played like that in half his games he'd be playing in the Prem by now.

Great finish.. but don't reckon much to the goalkeeper!

Lewis has bags of potential and is a cut above the rest of the squad in terms of technical ability. He's not consistent enough yet though, and does tend to drop out of games at times as if he's not interested.

He should (and probably will) end up being a strong Premier League player. He's nowhere near Collymore's level at the moment though.

His goal was reminiscent of a Rhods goal at 5 aside.

Haven't seen the goal myself yet but from comments on here sounds good 8)

Lets hope he can do it against Preston! :)

Completely unexpected, acheived mainly throug luck, and probably labelled as an own goal?

Smith was to blame for McGugan not getting a hat-trick

Said in the paper today that as soon as Mcgugan got into the dressing room Davies had a go at him and told him he needed to be more consistent and improve other areas of his game.
Seems harsh after he just won us the game but its true he is inconsistent

Running, head down, lucky skills, no passing and shooting? :-*

moussi playing yesterday lets mcgugan strut his stuff.

Haven't seen the goal but this is a good point. with moussi back in the team, will we finally get to see the best of both mcgugan and cohen? i certainly hope so because they are clearly both extremely talented players

It's not to Capello!

It's to Stuart Pearce, isn't it?

I read a load of quotes in The Sun that are about him wanting to play in the Under-21s!

Anyway, as for Davies telling him what he did, that's good.

Everyone on here goes on about it every week, so why shouldn't he? It is a very Clough-like thing to do, and is perfectly warranted.

I think one of the quotes I read was something like: "Lewis excites me, but he also frustrates me. We need to get him fitter and more consistent."

Bang on, if you ask me.

Yeah, I saw this in the paper today. Davies is spot on with assessment, and that's where we will see how they handle inproving Lewis. I think they know they have someone with a great talent, but he just needs to hone it a bit more (a la McCleary).

Don't know which paper this was, but I'd like to think the report is referring to Billy having a go at Lewis at half time.

If this was indeed the case, it was a masterstroke.

McGugan was f**king awful in the first half. Not just in terms of the quality of his play, but more alarmingly his stinking attitude. I thought it was worse than ever before (and that's saying something given his general mardiness in recent weeks). I just don't get him at all. If he plays s**t, then he's never gonna get that move to the Prem (if, indeed, that's what he's after), so what's with the attitude?

I'd have had the lazy f**ker off at half time, but just goes to show what I know. He actually tried in the 2nd half & showed signs of his undoubted class, capped by a superb solo effort that (deservedly) won us the match.

So well done Billy. You don't seem to want to be everyone's friend, like Calderwood appeared to crave, and perhaps the lads are starting to get used to that and actually listen and learn.

Suppose we'll find out on Tuesday.

It was a cracking goal.

Makes you wonder why we don't run at pace and shoot from the edge of the box more often. Usually we lose the ball trying to walk it in and do too much with it! Le and behold, we have an early shot from the edge of the box and it goes in. Cohen's effort was the work of a fast paced attack and nice build up too.

More of that!
