yes smith is a good keeper but not atm as his confidence is shot to pieces and nothing will cure that this season tbh and if it does go to the wire and the southampton game would anyone here feel comfortable with him between the posts? as for who id like forest to bring in I dont rate schmeical,camp cant come but TBH we mainly only rate him for his penatly saves and a few other good performances, so I honestly dont know how many 2nd choice keepers are there out there with the confidence to be chucked in front of our back 4 durring a relegation dog fight?

Chucking aside what anyones assessment of Smiths ability may be the only keeper I would feel comfortable with in the sticks other than him would be Camp. I rate Smith higher than Camp but with only 7 games let we need someone who knows the defence as it will take a few games to settle and that's a few games we don't have. Unless an amazing keeper is to come in and as we can't resign Camp getting a new keeper in now I think would only be counterproductive.

My mum (who reads 606 ::) ) reckoned we were signing Jan Lustvka from West Ham and that he was in Nottingham tonight, untill I pointed out that he's only on loan at West Ham anyway, and was on the bench tonight against WBA :D :nowink:

Lee Camp isn't coming? Oh right. I thought it was taking all this time to sort out his parking space at the club as he wants the one occupied by Paul Smith but he wasn't budging from the number 1 parking space?
Seriously though, no one is coming in now to challenge Smith. Not at this late stage of the season. It will be Smith in goal and Gamble on the bench. Simple really.

Spot on.

Any signings (and I doubt there will be more than 1 at this late stage) will be outfield players. If Smith were to get a season ending injury then maybe, but otherwise I wouldn't expect to see a goalkeeper through the door until the summer.

Yes it's got to be Big fat Nev, we may need some more vasoline ordering, and thats for Nev not Sol Campbell-in my opinion.

Iain Turner, 24, is their third choice keeper, or else it's Carlo Nash, whose gloves helped relegate Leicester last season.
