Leroy Lita

Has been released by Reading. Surely worth a look, especially on a free.

I know he hasn't had the best of seasons, but still looks like a decent player to me and could be a worthwhile squad member, especially if BD wants 6 strikers.

A great strikers, but stinking attitude... Think he may go to Naarwich actually :)

Not a chance.

They can't afford his wages down there.

My missus is quite pissed off with Reading over this. Lita wanted to stay at Norwich for the rest of the season, but Reading wouldn't let him, only to not use him and then release him.

It shows how far our expectations have risen that we can afford to consider ignoring Lita. This time a year ago most fans would have been orgasmic at signing him ::)

I think Lita is a good striker at this level, however he's in the same mould as Earnie/Tyson - a small fast striker. To a lesser degree Garner. We need different kinds of striker.

Irrespective of his supposed attitude problems.

great player on his day in the Champ, but something about him clearly doesn't ring true at the moment so I honestly don't think we're in any need to take risks like this with players when we're on such a high.

If we'd have been offered him on loan when we were struggling you wouldn't have minded, but now is the time to use our tried and tested selecting of players method as we build for the future, and I don't think Lita would pass the test.
