Apparently lining up a loan bid for the Stoke defender. No bookings in over 150 games. Thoughts?

That means he is going to get sent off on his debut

This one was doing the rounds on deadline day wasn't it?

Would be a decent signing, good in the air from what I can remember

Decent strong centre half, positive in air, good at this level but not an obvious 'shoe in' to replace Chambers. No bookings in 150 games has to be a bit of a worry for a centre half.

I read this in one of the rags earlier.

Apparently we missed out on him on deadline day.

It said Cort in the paper.

We've pretty much missed out on every defender in football

I've lost track now of what are serious suggestions and Wotton ones.

He was f*cking rubbish when I saw him playing for Palace.

No bookings in 150 games is pathetic for a defender. I want us to sign a proper defender, not Gary f***ing Lineker.

You are all mistaken...

Actually Marthur has chopped in his defender and brought a ....

The bookings thing doesn't encourage me, but I'm sure Wes could make up for that.

What a crock of shit, so you'd prefer him to get sent off every week? Shows he's a good a tackler!

exactly! How often did Des Walker used to get Booked? High bookings in a defender is more likely to mean the player is a clumsy tackler or just a dirty b#####d - a player who doesn't give away freekicks in dangerous positions is a plus - under Clough we had a quality defense who were constantly at the top of the fair play league.

It was a different game then as well, no prima donnas acting to get players booked, more phsysical contact was allowed and more leeway given by refs. The game is crap in comparison now.
