Hi all

Am desperate to go to this being from a fester fan orientated town!!

Any season ticket holders or members not able to go to this but would like to keep the number of games on their client ref up?

I will of course pay for the ticket but just quote your ref number and get ticket posted to me!!

Would much appreciate if anyone could help!!
 
Their tickets will be sold our sooner rather then later, I'm sure.
 
Many on here going by train?

Never been to Leicester before, been told the station to the ground is quite a treck?
 
We only got 3300. we asked for more due to the demand but were refused. Good luck.

And if you get a ticket, during a boring impasse in the game, gaze upon those empty seats in the home end. Strange club Leicester.

A Derby fan at work the other day was going on about the huge demand for tickets at Leics. He was absolutely adiment Leicester is "just another game" to Derby, there no rivarly at all, and there not on you're radar.

Fair enough, so why all the demand for the Leicester game? Where were those 3,300 plus so many others who couldn't get tickets at Barnsley? Or Coventry?

If this is the case, it seems to me you have a shite load of fairweathers who only seem interested in travelling when the team is doing something.

Just found it interesting as your numbers away, overall, are pretty shite.....yet suddenly Leicester pop up, which is just another game to you lot, and the demand is huge?

Not wanting an attendence debate like, but found it curious because to me, although Leicester aren't the main rivals.......there's still a little more there than a standard game. Certinally not hatred, but definatly EM pride/bragging rights.

I think Derby fans think less favourably of Leicester than we do after losing in the playoff final to them - understandably enough. Similar to the pretty much unrequieted hatred some of our fans seem to still feel for Sheffield United.

Never troubled to work out which of the two true East Midland clubs in the Championship the Leicester fans dislike the most, and to be honest, I don't really care - although the demand for cup tickets at the City Ground that time demonstrated that they certainly relish playing us.
 
They don't know who they dislike most either. There's almost constant references to this conundrum on LCFC forums.
 
They should just f*** off and hate Coventry, makes life easier for everyone.

Cheers fella. Looks like it's going to be a pub around the station then a taxi to the ground, all depending on whether police escort us like they do at Derby. As i've not been to Leics before, I have no idea, but i'd imagine as escort is the more likely option.

As for the rivals stuff.....I've always been under the impression a lot of the older Leicester fans still see us at the big one. However in recent years Coventry seems to have more hatred involved (certinally between their younger fans). I've no idea to be honest though, just going off what a Leicester fan mentions in our local from time to time.
 
Last time I went to Leicester by train we were rounded up by the rozzers and herded into a pub which then locked us in and refused to serve us - then were escorted to the ground. So best get an early train if you want to avoid that kind of nonsense...

Cheers fella. Unfortunatly I don't finish work till 5pm so have no choice but get a late train :(.

I don't mind all that business, as long as we get a pub and I can have a pint....especially after a long day at work!!!
 
Last time i went to the walkers stadium, i didnt go to watch football. I woke up in a hotel next to it with a random girl i didnt know....and was supposed to be, and thought i was in leeds.

Messy times.
 
if the Fester police treat fans on the train like they did the coaches last season expect to be f**ked about. All the coaches were escorted all the way up the M1 to J25 before we were allowed off :w**kers:

Heard about their cops doing this. Starting to get cheesed off with how the police treat fans that come on the coaches. Like at Barnsley for example.

Also, I have 3 tickets for this game off our away memberships but one of the lads is 50/50 if he can come, so if anyone wants the ticket for face value, I can't promise anything but I may have a spare. Just throw me a message
