It may not be true but not sure why he'd make it up. My mate text me out the blue to give me the info... he doesnt even support Forest.

That's nothing, My 2nd cousin twice removed, knows my anscestor who knows the chairman of Forest Green Rovers (which sounds like Nottingham Forest), who knows the tea lady at A.F.C. Wimbledon, who once slept with Wayne Rooney and David Beckham at the same time, says she knows for a 100% certain fact we are signing Kris Commons' little brother, Ronaldo, who plays for Quorn Athletic, on loan for 23 days, and are paying 3 Million for him and are also paying 26.3% of his wages. My Mate just texted me this information, so I think it's true, I don't see why he would lie?

Errrrm....... Can't see it myself but if it's not true, either your mates a liar or your mates dads a liar or Lee Grants dads a liar, so again - either way if it's not true the whole thing could be a load of bollox.

My apologies in advance if it is true - but will you be back to apologise if it is bollox?
 
There's no way we're gonna have 3 Championship quality GKs at this club, so say if we do sign Grant then he'd only be back-up to Camp so then Smith would leave. But what would be the point.. I regard Smith to be as good as Grant. But obviously Camp is one of the best in the league so why would Grant leave Wednesday to go from first team higher League One team to be a higher Championship team back-up?
 
We do need another three goalkeeperes I think.

Get Grant.

Then a million on Brad Guzan.

Then a quarter of a million on Adam Federici.

Sorted. 5 Championship class goalkeepers. Who's gonna score now?
 
Not sure why everybody is so grumpy. He just passed on information. He hasn't stated it's fact and put the forum reputation on the line. He has nothing to apologise for apart from maybe it could have gone in the whiffy thread....

Hi mate now this is not a dig at you or anyone , just something that aleays puzzels me. Why is it always announced in a few days, if a player has signed why the delay this always puzzles me!!!:cheers:
 
maybe the club and player have a cooling off period in which the can cancel the contract in first few days if they change there mind lol lol

Im just passing on the info, IM not saying the facts are true am I as personally I dont know.

Apparently the CCC will announce news that will revolutionize the English game and promote more sponsorship from the US. Goals will be doubled in size and 2 goalkeepers will be used at the same time. One will be a rush back. I think BD is thinking ahead! Genius. He heard this news from someones aunties brothers wife who has a talking dog working at CCC headquarters.

I love close season!

Taking rumours a bit too seriously. I agree that it won't happen but why jump down someones throat for posting a rumour.
