I have too many bad memories of Andy 'Andrew' Cole and Neil Lennon to even contemplate this.
 
No need at all, McKenna can do the midfield job effectively. He would be good cover for McKenna but he's hardly going to sit on the bench at his age.

He would have been a good loan signing when McKenna was injured though.
 
He would have been good cover for mckenna during the last loan window but with a new season , no chance , he's too old now , not to mention , his wages would be high. I think he's like on 28k per week at Birmingham.
