Obviously you're not condemning Turner or Smith in here, but discussions such as this can inevitably lead towards negativity pointed at the keeper which is the last thing we need right now.

Again, I'm not blaming you for anything man, it's just stuff like this leads to some shit that we really don't need right now. Turner is ours till the end of the season and we really really need him playing well.

If we stay up and have ample dollar to spend in the summer, do you really think that money should go on a second place keeper at a championship club? With doughtys backing, we may just have a fair amount to spend.

Hah, even Paul Robinson will be on our radar should B'burn come down. Maybe Craig Gordon should the mackems come down.


It's highly unlikely, but there will be more and better options. Hell, Billy managed to bag the one of the champs top scorers, whose to say we can't sniff around teams relegated?

He is nowhere near worth the £1m price tag and he is completely overated. He is a short term answer to a long term problem. He just does all the stuff that Smith doesn't do but there are fundamental errors in his play. If he was that good then QPR and Derby wouldn't have gone out there way to replace him with keepers like Bywater or Cerny.

At the end of the day I am looking at the most important statistic in terms of keepers (clean sheets) and in the 15 appearances of Camp's time here and Smith's first 15 appearances Smith kept more clean sheets. Add another 5 or 6 games to Smith's tally and he has double the amount of clean sheets in comparison to Camp. No excuses no defensive changes just simple facts. I don't care how the keeper does it as long as they do it. Smith has issues he isn't a great keeper in the slightest but Camp is no better because he advances off his line more. It's all about decision making and Camp advances off his line before he thinks about whether it is worth it or not. There have been plenty of occassions where Camp has come off his line when he shouldn't have done. I know Smith should come for more crosses but at the end of the day if he is keeping more clean sheets then he deserves to be kept in the side out the 2 keepers.

For me there are so many better keepers in this league alone that it isn't worth buying Camp. He will be one of these keepers that, give it 12 months people will be fed up of because he doesn't stay on his line when he shouldn't etc. we will have this all over and again and would've wasted £1m in the process.

I recommend Kenny who is up for sale at the moment as I always have even Westwood would be lured away for the right price.

Fat Kenny wages is as fat as he is , hence why his contract isn't renewed - he's asking too much. As far as Westwood , no chance.
After every else that had happened this season , why do people still think we are the chelski of this division , we have so much money to throw at other clubs that every player will want to come to forest ?! :nowink:
