Seems like a perfectly good way to go about things to me. He's probably trying very hard to pick out the characters he thinks can win us the play offs, and he thinks he can do that best by taking a step back from things.

I agree actually, he seems to know what he's doing doesn't he? I'm scared we might batter whoever in the semis then we'll all be excited about the final, then lose in a horrible way.

I am scared that the fit young filly who sits near me, who I never noticed has nice boobs to add to an already impressive package until the Plymouth game, will not turn up for the play offs or renew her season ticket.

Imagine how fired up the players will be when he does his 1st team talk in weeks for the 1st leg of the Playoffs.

Could be another master-stroke for BD

Sitting in the stands really gives the better view on players movement off the ball too, rather then concentrating on sort the players out during the match.

Good idea from Billy. By taking a back seat he's preparing everyone for next season when he's not around.:(

lol

He's also showing sympathy to his old mate Nigel Clough by sitting in the stands for a game.

I had one sitting next to me in the first half of the season but then 3 young daft lads now sit on the row and have ruined everything. She was always with her dad well i think it was her dad but the way she dressed he may of been her fancy man.

Shall we start up a totti spotting thread ?

I've heard about managers resting players...but this must be the first case of a manager resting himself?

Sounds very Cloughie esque Brian that is, Leaving the training to his coaches. Brian as we know never really bother with trainings just let Alan Hill,Liam O'kane Ron Fenton and Archie Gemmil sort the training out. I like Billy methods as their is usually a good reason for them.
