The next 5 games for the top 3 are as follows...

Newcastle....
West Brom (A), Crystal Palace (H), Leicester (A), Cardiff (H), Derby (A).

West Brom....
Newcastle (H), Ipswich (A), Sheffield Utd (H), Plymouth (A), Scunthorpe (H).

Nottingham Forest....
Reading (H), QPR (H), Derby (A), Sheffield Wednesday (H), Coventry (A)

WHO on paper has the hardest games coming up?

I think we have a good set of teams to play, which hopefully we'll take a few points from.
Newcastle have some pretty difficult games to contend with.
West Brom should also take a few points from their games too,
I think its going to be close again after the next 5 games.

I've higlighted what I see as tough games for the respective teams. I think we have POTENTIALLY a much easier run.

In honesty I'd rather Newcastle beat WBA. 2 teams usually pull away in a league and though its still early I'd rather we be one of them.

From what I have read in the WBA forums they have been expecting a few pastings as they haven't been playing well. On the other hand we have been playing quite well with the odd blip that hasn't cost us too dearly. Keep an eye on Leicester. Even though we hammered them they will still beup there if they win their games in hand. Level with us.

We need to get out of the complacent mindset we have too. We -and last nights pundits- see no problem with us beating QPR and Reading. We wont win if we start thinkin we have won before we have kicked off. I'm sure Billy will hammer that into the lads. I'll be happy if we sort out the current affairs. Sign Shorey, get cover centre half, perhaps versatile player who plays left and right back. Experienced player.

I'm not trying to say we'll march on to be champions - just that we are now the form team in the division (others posters say we've topped the table before but i look often and dont think we have).

we'll draw many away (our biggest problem is not winning away) and loose one or two but we really are a very good CCC team at the moment.

do any 'non league nigel' advocates want to make any suggestions?

billy is our king !!!!!

I'm glad we've played our games, saves them getting piled up and us having to play loads of games in a short space of time, keeps us fresh! And it's better us getting points on the board and put pressure on the others to catch up eg Cardiff missing out on 3 points today and Leicester have a tough game against an improving Ipswich side.
