Lamine Camara (BUPA)

I don't really disagree with any of that tbh mate. I rate Dominguez so highly because he's very, tidy, an intelligent player, does a lot of underappreciated stuff and very rarely lets you down. Your point is very valid overall and currently Sangare is the only one that really has a standout skillset which is his ability to take the ball in tight and difficult areas under pressure.

I do really like what I've seen of Schlager in pre-seaon and he seemed to posses a couple of those extra traits, the question now is can he deliver it in the PL. We do need another CM and unfortunately that is going to moving either Dom or Yates out.
That is my fear too. Dom and Yates are at risk but I just have to get over myself as things inevitably move on. Hated Big T going but acceptance comes slow.

As tidy a player as Dom is he doesn't do the dirty stuff that Yates does so I'd be more in favour of him going if we had to lose one. 100% agree with you on TA too, was really hoping to see him this season after a bit of a renaissance under VP.

Apart from the money and maybe London life - I know both can be big attractions - can't understand serious players opting for Chelsea. Loaded with players in almost every position, prospect of occasional cup games, being loaned out, disappearing into obscurity then traded, bonkers.

I know, I mean, who’d want to get paid thousands a week for your job, whilst not actually having to do your whole job?

But you’re right, Chelsea is an extreme example; they must have some great salesmen to continually convince players to join them.

Yes, the prospect of being set for life must be appealing however there's only so much money can buy and a footballer's playing career is finite, would have thought you would have wanted to play for as long as you could but what do us mere mortals know?

As for salesman, digressing slightly on a similar note Spuds seem to be adopting a plug-and-play and sod the cost model.

Big 6 links seem to have quietened a bit for this guy. Not even sure we’ve been linked but I still think this fella could be the perfect fit for us.
Bit above our level tho. He's on verge of joining for Chelsea for £60 million or close to, and is then their - Enzo Fernandez replacement...

Both is just greedy…then again that is the Chelsea way
Latest is that Kone won’t be sold as they can’t find a replacement - Camara it is for Chelsea then. I hope we go I for danios or similar as we are light in midfield

Chelsea want Camara and Kone and the deals look very likely to happen
Gasperini said after the game last night that Kone isn't leaving Roma. After that I just don't see it happening as Gasp has a lot of sway on decisions.

See my post above Kate. Bid this morning but manager doesn’t want to sell just yet
