Hell, I’d probably be an improvement on Zinchenko at left back, and my knees are made of cheese nowadays.
Anyone or anything would be an improvement on Zinchenko to be fair, even a pile of mouldy cheese left behind by monsieur Montanier

Enough of the montanier slander; I won’t stand for it

Montanier’s appointment was worthwhile purely for a great midweek away trip to Brentford where we sang his song non-stop for ages. One of my favourite Reds chant that was.

And he’s the second greatest manager ever to walk the hallowed halls of the WFCG?

Massively important we bring in another left back with all these additional cup games... Kostas, rather than sitting on Roma's bench, come and sit on our bench instead.

Notcher

Ian Bowyer
Big character from what I've read about him. Very popular with the Pool squad.

Looked ok whenever I've seen him. Left back needed. No brainer
I asked a Liverpool supporting mate about him in the summer when we were linked. He said he's a steady player, doesn't let you down when called upon and good set-piece taker.

Tbh that's all we need as cover for LB, someone that won't let us down and give us an uneventful 90 mins down the left. I can't bear the thought of watching Morato once again getting twisted up like a pretzel and torn a new arsehole.

Still think this is our first choice at LB, but the Robertson/Spurs thing is getting in the way.
