Kelvin Wilson - disgrace.

People may say that Halford pushed Wilson first, some may say that he made the most of the incident..

But Wilson's actions were disgusting and, IMO says everything about the guy.

Seems up his own arse and couldn't give a * about anyone or anything else. Hes a Nottingham lad but doesn't have the clubs interests at heart.

We were dominating play those first 15 minutes.. and he has to do something as rediculous as that.

Wilson out in the summer, please.

Yet he saved Morgan's bacon several times on Saturday and went about his business quietly and efficiently.

Perhaps Billy fired them up before the game but went too far with Kelvin.

I agree that he may well go in the summer mind as managers seem to be as fickle as us.

He'll most like be banned for the rest of the season and then he'll have his work cut out to convince Davies to keep him.

Posted it in another thread but I agree that Wilson's reaction today was totally unprofessionable and unacceptable. He was rightly awarded a straight red and he will deservedly suffer the consequences of his behaviour.

I wouldn't be surprised if we never see him in a Forest shirt again.

Must admit at the game I thought that Wilson hadn't touched him but after speaking to people with a better view than me it turns out I was wrong.

Nearly cost us big time.

I don't think he actually headbutted or even made any contact.

He merely went face to face, he should have known that Sheffield United are a disgraceful bunch of inbred w**kers beforehand.

Foolish today, it was a definite red and that's his season over.

To be honest, in a way I think the sending off helped us, we soaked up their pressure without sending many men forward and chancing being caught on the break.

As for Kelvin, we'll wait and see if Billy wants him in the summer. He's not given himself the best of chances after today though.

Wasn't thinking about the future of the club when he lashed out. McGovern's attempts to defend him were embarrassing too.

I didn't notice McGovern defending him too much (I didn't listen to the post match though if it happened then), it was Colin Fray if anyone. McGovern normally tells it like it is - whether its good or bad for Forest. Fray on the other hand wouldn't let the over reaction of the blunt drop. Wilson got what he deserves now he's left us with a further player we can't pick on top of our massive injury problems.

He definately made contact from where I was sat, and didn't complain too much about it himself - knew exactly what he'd done.

Although I'm not supporting that his behaviour was in any way acceptable, Kelvin is a key assest to the club and I strongly disagree that he doesn't have the clubs interest at heart. I expect much better from the man but as he has shown in previous games he is passionate and desperatley wants the club to stay in this division.

His reactions to both Michael Kightly and Dele Adebola's goals at the City Ground show his anger at conceding and potentially sending us down. I fully expect Kelvin to remain here next season whichever division we are in, whilst Wes has had a fantastic season this is also due to Kelvin's partnership at the back. They have saved each other on numerous occasions this season.

just got back from the gaem.

had a decent view of the incident, as halford was trying to get the ball after the whistle had gone he kind of pushed wilsons arm away, nothing serious but wilson then shoved halford, then went to go nose to nose (he didnt go to headbutt him by any stretch but it would of appeared so from any other angle) and over halford went with some play acting.

no doubt it was a stupid thing for wilson to do and totally unnecasary. he should be counting his lucky stars the lads battled their arses off

I had about as good a view as you could get of it. Wilson walked off with the ball, Halford ran into to him and got it off of him. That should have been it, it happens all the time in games. But no, wilson went to punch him first but missed then went to headbutt him but just missed with that also.

Its a f***ing disgrace. Id fine him two weeks wages and make him publicly apolagise if he wanted to play for us again.

That said, id rather have Brekin at this time. I also think it worked for us in a strange way, I think we would have conceded had he not gone.

To be honest i dont rate him that much anyway (my opinion)
But when you get a player sent off in the first 20 mins
It makes it twice as hard for all of the other players!
Wilson was a disgrace to the team today and im glad he won't be playing in the last 3 games!

He made a mistake, I'm sure Davies will let him know it.

Aside from that why are people over-reacting quite so much? A very daft thing to have done, certainly, but in the heat of the moment can all of you honestly say you've never done something you regret?

Ture lol

I realise Wilson isn't very popular amongst the fans, he frustrates me more often than not too, but I think here people are getting a bit silly. He is guilty of foolishness, nothing more - it's not like he did something like Chris Morgan did to Iain Hume is it?

Exactly what I was thinking.

I am pretty sure Halford has no mark on his face from the incident and I havent heard of an "attempted punch". Just take a look at Iain Hume's injuries from Morgans doing, yet he is still highly regarded by the Blades fans.

How can you compare Wilson and Morgan?

Morgan is a quality player, and gets stuck in whenever he can, wears his heart on his sleeve and adores the club.

Wilson has the potential to be a quality player, gets stuck in from time to time but couldn't give a crap about anyone but himself.

Showed alot of promise when he first signed but his form has dipped since then.
