Just not our night! (again)

Firstly, fair play to Blackpool, on the night they deserved it more, for some unknown reason i had a funny feeling about the match, i just wasn't feeling confident. It's fair to say a few players didn't play up to the standard they have been playing to get us in the position we find ourselves in the table, i not going to name names but we all know who played under par.
I believe the turning point/s in the game were the offside decisions that went against us and the deflected goal scored by Dobbie just after we had equalised.

It's quite ironic that our great home form deserted us on our last home game just like our away form ended at D***y,(i somehow knew that would be the match where it ended). I'm still scratching my head how our away form at the start of the season was fantastic but it the latter part of the season it was dire.

If either of the offside decisions weren't wrongly given, we'd have been 2-0 up on the night and ahead in the tie. If both weren't given, 3-0 and 2 goals up.

Deflected goal... etc.

Blackpool were better, but I do think if those incidents reversed themselves we'd have seen out the game comfortably. Gutted.

we shot ourselves in the foot with some lacklustre defending. Im not naming names either BUT Davies has stated all season that he doesnt want square pegs in round holes yet he persists in playing right footed players at left back and strikers on the wing. I still love the guy and think he has done a great job but id just rather have seen Lynch playing at left back tonight just for the fact that he would have been more controlled on the ball.

Earnie's was marginal, but maybe just slightly offside. I was angry at how late the linesman flagged him off. I honestly thought we'd got a second.

Blackstock appeared to be onside.
