I find it funny you even talking about how good/bad the QPR fans were.

I am not being funny but I have never experienced such a quiet home support in my footballing life. I think you should concentrate on your own songs and support before commenting how good or bad the away support is.

I don't know what those tossers were doing in the corner, they don't represent the vast majority of QPR fans. I was sitting quite near to them and although I did not hear them sing any Clough songs (for which I apologise) they were acting like idiots. I heard them talking about fighting bouncers in the toilet ::) I hope they did not start any trouble.

3 shots on target and 2 goals isn't bad is it. You must certainly be happy with a point after that performance. Seems you will be getting your wish in having Lee Camp after his comments on the radio.

I had a very enjoyable time in Nottingham, thanks for the info of places to visit, shame I did not have more time there.

They might've been knob-heads in the corner but they were the only ones making any noise. Still, good numbers from you lot, comfortably the best support we've seen from London this year.

The atmosphere at Forest is very up and down, the first 30 yesterday was like a morgue, but after the break I thought it was decent.

well i know most of my mates didnt go because we was all hungover and was wounded from derby.. that probaly dampeneded the spirit of our fans..

Nah they were not making that much noise to be fair, the ones cornered off by the police that is. They were singing different songs to the rest of the QPR fans.

I am not being funny, but we can comment on whatever we like!

It's not like we actually think we're a good home crowd or anything. Far from it. I think we're absolutely shit and the booers/whingers have an obvious adverse effect on our own team. I wish it wasn't like that, but it's terrible!

with a fully fit team (lee camp in goal) we would have won reasonably comfortably but because of our inexperienced side we failed to finish off games when leading before half time and should have never let our leads against derby and QPR go so cheaply. With more experienced heads in the team we could have had a comfortable 2 goal advantage on wed and should have gone in with a lead on sat

I think that's the same with most teams to be fair and we are no exception. Fans seems to prefer to complain then support their own team.

When Cerny started his first game for QPR ahead of Camp he was getting booed left right and center because everyone wanted Camp to play, which shot his confidence to pieces for the next few games. Eventually they began to see that he was a better keeper than Camp and the booing has stoped. I am not trying to preach or anything but this lack of support must be getting to Smith, maybe if he had the support of Forest you might not be having the debate of if you need Camp.

I totally agree! I don't understand why you'd even bother turning up if you just want to slag off the players constantly. If you want to be a meanie, why not do it to the opposition? :D

I don't know why this keeps being brought up. Buzsacky, Vine, Rowlands, Helguson, Agyemang and Cerny all first team players out injured not to mention Cook suspended.

But your first team is better than ours, presumably your back up is too lol

Nah I question that, your team looked very good when we played you at our place.

Moussi, Bennett, Earnshaw, Anderson , Perch all missing the QPR game with the exeption of Perch out for a reasonable amount of time we even had our centre back and 19 year old reserve striker up front towards the end. Ithink it was the 19yr olds 3rd appearence this year and his debut in the league

The difference is that QPR are wise enough to build a squad that can deal with such problems. Forest however, seem to think it's still 1970 and that we only need 12 players.

Alberti our goal scorer is 20 and from the reservers, think it was his 2nd of 3rd game. Connolly is 21, Ephraim 20, Di Carmine 20, Balanta 18, Blackstock 22, Routledge 24, Camp 24. You are looking for excuses that don't add up.

We may have a good enough squad for midfielders but we have nothing in the way on strikers. Would love to have Earnshaw or Tyson up front for us.

So would we! Earnie was injured and one of your players elbowed Tys in the head!

Okay, so we all know how old (or young, rather) our players are :)

Yeah the difference is we are not using it as an excuse.

We are going with the fact we have no striking options or creativity

and...

get this...

Judging by a couple of rangers message boards, some people seem to think that Lee Camp knowingly dived the wrong way for your penalty and deliberately messed up coming for the cross for your second ::)

Heh. I don't think he did, he celebrated your goals along with the rest of the team.

Bear in mind that your squad is established at this level, the squad we have at the moment would have found League One daunting, let alone the next one up.

It isn't an excuse though, because that's what we have - so I don't see why people paint it as such - it's just a fact of football. Obviously we'd be more aware of our own frailties than yours - and frailties isn't a word I'd use for the side you put out yesterday, because they were mostly huge and incredibly physical, something else we (and the referee) didn't deal with particularly well.

Now this is getting silly.

Yeah, none of our youngsters have really even played in the Championship before. Buzsacky, Blackstock, Vine, Camp etc have played plenty of games in the Championship haven't they? And Routledge has been at Premiership teams with top class players. Di Carmine is on loan from FIORENTINA for god's sake! We have a player on loan from BRIGHTON.

Yes, they're similar ages, but the experience and where they've come from is totally different.

I'm bloody envious of your scouting system if you've picked up players like Di Carmine and Alberti for nothing! We've had to delve into the lower leagues for our talent.

After camp had 4 penalties to deal with playing for us i honestly can not remember him diving to the left and the forest players probably know this however even if he was to join i cannot see camp doing that as i beleive he has a great desire to win no matter which team he is playing for

I went on Vital last night and reading the QPR report on the game.

I can understand the consparicy theories regarding Camp, according to that it was debatable if any Forest player required attention for Injuries, they were dropping like flies ( Or similar ) to break up QPR's early rhythm, now I swear blind I saw Tyson led off in front of me, blood pouring down his face after receiving an elbow to his head from skinny defender.

P.S Do tell the the Pope is actually Catholic, not Anglican

may have been a quiet home game but it has to be said OUR away following takes some beating , even in league one we were taking shit loads ,at smaller places like saarfend and colchester it seemed like we'd taken over half the stadium. by the way we had 8 players aged 20 or younger in our squad , cohen is only 21, chambers & wilson both 23 and you lot got rid of ol' man tyson (26) after 15 minutes so i think it's fair to say our resources were far more tested than your own , allied to the fact that the referee probably has a life size tattoo of stan bowles face on his chest as he MUST be an R's fan i think we probably deserved a draw faced with such adversity.
