Plenty of heart, guts and desire, sadly lacking in ability for where we are and where we want to be.
I really wish the guy well after his horrible injury but I really don't see him playing any part in Forests future, we've got so much better since he last played and he has been left way behind.

He's got a decent cross and shot on him and can go past people but he can also tackle, is strong and decent in the air.
Nobody really knows how he'll fare at this level yet and I think he'd be ok given the chance.

Jules could still do a job for Forest as a decent squad player; he only had (due to injury) something like 11 games in the Championship under Colin Calderwood.
Loves Forest and Nottingham, and has passion and commitment that a few others in the squad could learn from. Deservedly player of the year in the promotion season from League One.
However he's been out for the best part of 18 months, so I don't know whether or not he will be able to resume his career at any level, which is a real shame as he's a really decent bloke!
I can only wish him luck in resuming his career (hopefully at Forest); I'm sure if he can't play due to his injury, the club can find him a role somewhere - he'd be a fantastic role-model for the Academy!

I cant wait to see julian make a return. Gives everything, loves the club, and we havent seen enough of him at this level to make a fair judgement on how he'll perform.

It's worth noting that the last time Bennett played was under Calderwood in a very different team. Look at how other players like Wilson and Morgan have improved under Davies. Bennett should be given the same chance. At least as a squad player.

Coming back from the injury he's had, I don't think any of us know if he'll even be good enough for the reserves any more. But none of us should judge him until he's at least been back on a pitch...
