I don't see the point of a signing like this. Wrong guy at the wrong time, for us. Probably a good pickup for any number of lower half teams. But given the type of mids we should be looking for, he isn't the right fit at all.

I'd be surprised. I'm sure Henderson still has something to offer at this level in a bit-part capacity but it just doesn't fit in with our usual recruitment.
If he came in on a year's deal, on reasonable money as a dressing room leader it's not the end of the world. He's clearly the consummate professional and would clearly be a good influence (not that it seems like we need it) but I'd just be surprised we would entertain it.
