Otherwise known as an Inverse Chris Wood.I think a lot of us thought we'd made quite an astute signing when we got him in.
It's fair to say, we weren't entirely correct. Career has completely fallen off.

75? Is that how many Death Eaters are left?![]()
Jonjo Shelvey: Former Newcastle United midfielder says he hasn't moved to Dubai for money
About 75 fans watched Jonjo Shelvey's debut in the third tier of the United Arab Emirates - but he says he has not moved for money.www.bbc.co.uk
Odd fellow.
Is he related to the Prime Minister?Doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the box. Infact, just a tool.
It’s the UAE, they’ve probably been convicted of drug-possession or something. What did those 75 people do that was so bad that they are being forced to watch Jonjo Shelvey!?
Yeah… you’ve not missed much I can tell you that.I've never been to Dubai, so won't judge the place.
But every single person I know personally who has gone to live there is an absolute whopper, the drags of humanity.
The sort of people who pride themselves on not paying any tax.
It sounds awful.Yeah… you’ve not missed much I can tell you that.
All bling and no substance, would be the best way to describe it. I’ve met some absolute chompers there.
Someone once described it to me as absolutely soulless, and that’s stuck with me since then.It sounds awful.
Our buddy Jonjo is welcome to it.
Jonjo?Someone once described it to me as absolutely soulless, and that’s stuck with me since then.
They're all stuck in horcruxes somewhere.Jonjo?
Yeah, he is an odd fellow, wouldnt surprise me if he was missing a soul.
It looks like a Middle Eastern Las Vegas to me, just some completely fake, fabricated place that tries to dazzle people into submission. I've never been and I don't ever plan to.Someone once described it to me as absolutely soulless, and that’s stuck with me since then.
Paying effectively only £15M for Elliot Anderson was our revenge for the barcodes selling us that overrated bag of shit![]()

John Terry will always be the biggest twat to have worn the shirt in my lifetime.God, he really is just fundamentally unlikable isn't he? Terrible player, terrible attitude, terrible person, and entirely ineffective at being a dark lord. Of all our ex-players, I think I dislike him the most. Even someone as awful as Marlon King brought some joy with that last minute winner against West Ham.
An absolute bell-end!John Terry will always be the biggest twat to have worn the shirt in my lifetime.
Always and forever.
At least he was a good player and talks good about Forest though. Looking for the positives!John Terry will always be the biggest twat to have worn the shirt in my lifetime.
Always and forever.
He could be a cross between Zidane on the pitch and as eloquent as Dostoevsky off it, he's still one of the worst people to ever live.At least he was a good player and talks good about Forest though. Looking for the positives!
Always difficult to ever know the real reasons behind things. I would imagine that Shelvey might have conveniently forgotten a few details but that sort of behaviour would certainly fit in with other stuff we've heard about the way Marinakis works over the years.Claimed on Under The Cosh that he was basically told he wouldn't play again after Villa, never kicked off like it was said in the paper and when he wanted to leave to Turkey, we apparently said either he had to terminate two years money or come back to England right as the window was about to shut.
Maybe it's bullshit, but then we've done some wild things behind the scenes over the years under Marinakis so I could sort of believe it.
