It seems strange that some forum members (it's only my third post and I'm kicking off) cant see that if we do/have a natural left and right back it Free's up the players (centre backs) playing in those postions!!!
The question really is, are Lynch and Chambers not the right players for Centre back either!!!!!
Mills is great though and i would love it i tell you love it, if we signed him..........
Stoneage Romeo said:Lynch's preferred position is centre half, I can't remember if we've tried him there yet.

according to the Daily Mail, we are about to sign Jon Harley (left Back) from watford for £500,000. He is ex chelsea. Not heard this one before!
Biggie Bart Williams said:Thanks Chief (in Block Caps for extra power)
Harley has one year on his contract and played nearly 40 games for the hornets last season, so a signing on fee would be a reasonable request!!!
redchief said:It will be nowhere near £500k. Anything from free - £100k more likely if it were to go through. My posting on this yesterday evening. :

Personal terms agreed and got the seal of approval from ND. Problem being JH was told he could leave on a free and now because big spending Forest are interested Watford want £100k. Billy trying to get the fee down as he was expecting a free transfer.
redchief said:If he's not wanted and on decent wages makes sense to get him off the wage bill by allowing him to leave on a free.

From Fox to Mattock to Spurr to Harley. Disappointing that after all the hard work we're still going to have a rubbish defence.
