It is indeed linked to Robin Hood from my vague recollection of what's in Phil Soar's 'Official History of Nottingham Forest' book. Unfortunately I don't know where mine is but, if anyone's got a copy handy, a quick flick through should shed some more light on it.

On page 88 of the book there is a photo of the 50-51 promotion winning squad and a note stating that the Forester badge was the first club variant on the city coat of arms…

Is there a page near the front as well showing each logo the club's used with a description of the origins of each one? I've got a hazy image of that in my head for some reason.

When my Dad died five years ago I inherited all his Forest stuff and this was the Supporters Club badge that he wore for many years which shows the Forester as the emblem. At a guess I would say this badge dates from the early sixties; I can never remember when he didn't wear it.

The tshirt with the text from the 1980 European final would be really cool except I think they've managed to use the wrong font and the leading is atrocious. Especially the final couple of lines.
