Manchester City teenager John Guidetti is set for a loan move to the Championship, skysports.com understands.
The 18-year-old is being tracked by a host of clubs, with Burnley leading the race to clinch his signature.
Cardiff, Ipswich, Leicester and Nottingham Forest are all keen to land the young Swedish prospect, but the Clarets are in pole position.
Guidetti is very highly rated by City, who signed him from Brommapojkarna in 2008.
However, he is out of contract at the end of the season and a string of Europe's biggest clubs are now ready to make him an offer in January.
Should City sanction his loan, then it will be for an initial month-long deal.
