I work in Scunny and at the place im working at is a guy who is a Donny fan, He said he was just off to the shop to get a Donny paper as they are after Joe garner and wondered if there would be some news in it about him, he said that Davies has allowed them to talk to Garner, and Davies is willing to let him go if the deal is right....Now maybe its just a loan deal or just talk.

No way would i let joe go.He got shafted by the dwarf last season.Played 2 games up front all season and scored in both..i guarantee if we sell him it will come back to haunt us..To think that Mcgoldrick was getting a game ahead of him boils my blood..

Garner is our 3 best striker atm, better than Adebola, McGoldrick & Tyson.. If we sell any of our stikers it should be either Dele, Dave or Nath.

I didnt say i believed him, nor am i gullible when it comes to hearsay, i was just mentioning it as thats what i was told by a complete stranger to me.
To be fair, I am working in an old peoples complex, as im a Painter & Decorator and the bloke i was talking to was one of the residents who was just talking to me in passing on his way to the paper shop and did NOT know i was a Forest fan, was the 1st time ive seen him, so i dont think he would have made that up on the spot.

I don't really get all the garner love on here.
What I see when I watch Joe Garner is a talented player who has a very poor temperament. He's great with the ball but when he loses it he just jumps in with both feet. He got 6 yellow cards in 14 appearances last season (and a lot of them were as sub for 10 minutes). No wonder he rarely plays a full 90, he'd never last that long.

I can see where you are coming from, but the tennants that live there arent that old that they have lost their marbles, its only a warden aided place not a nursing home.

Interesting how some write deeply moving speeches about how rudely and unfairly they were treated when they posted transfer news, how if it hadn't happened then they'd still be posting information.....But then come along a couple of posters trying to share rumours they'd heard, neither of whom claim them as fact, both of whom explain their sources and leave it up to you but instead of trying to support these guys, or at least keeping your mouth shut you turn into a troll. Are you still bitter about the stick you took? Do you need a cuddle baby?

I saw the "Garner to Doncaster" rumour as a headline on the Forest page on NewsNow about three or four weeks ago. I think there could be something more concrete to this than just wishful thinking on the part of Doncaster fans.
I think also that Billy might well sell him. Garner had to work hard to get back into the side last season when we only had him, Tyson and Earnshaw as senior strikers despite him being in pretty good form when Billy took over. The reluctance to give him a chance up front would also imply his days are numbered. Of course, this could all be due to the rather mardy attitude Garner seems to display from time to time.
