Joe Garner - WHAT'S HAPPENED?!

Hi, im fairly new to this so hello to you all.

I just need to know and this has probably been spoke about but im quite worried as im a big fan of the little man and he's surely in our future plans for success but....

Where is Joe Garner??

Has he really got a shoulder injury??

The article in the NEP about BD's search for a new striker mentions earnie, tys, even newbold but no Garner?

I've heard some rumour that his girlfriend drove him home at half-time from the Ipswich match but I think that is nonsense!

Can someone please clear this up as i see Garner a big player for us now and in future!!!

Dont fret. He injured his AC joint in his shoulder vs QPR. He should replace Tys tomorrow night.

I think Garner showed his potential during the last two months of 2008 with some solid performances and some well taken goals.

I don't think he has performed worse than some others in the team over the last few weeks.

He is only 20

We paid a large fee for such a young lad (relative to our overall transfer policy) and for one who has suffered such a serious injury. But that fee is not his fault.

I think Davies will work on him and we will hopefully see the benefits on the field over the next few seasons.

Why are some Forest fans so hasty to make snap judgements on players when history shows that most players need time to acclimatise after a move, even players with more experience than Garner.

His is the same age as Thornhill, McGugan, Byrne, Heath and Bencherif

Give him time and he will develop in to a good player for us - get on his back and he will go the same way as Marlon King.

I've heard a rumour that Billy has fallen out with the hat. It's on it's way in the summer to be replaced with a new one. A sombrero probably. Or a nice panama.

This is an unconfirmed rumour, though.

I heard it from my paperboy's girlfriend's fathers butcher's hairdresser, who claims Billy has been contemplting a haircut that will go well with a baseball cap.

She was going to cut it for him, but then he fell out with her, so now he is looking for a new hairdresser.

He's hoping to have a new haircut by next week, but has been critical of the amount of money Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon have to spend on shampoo. Apparantly their ability to use shampoo that costs £30 a bottle is Paul Smith's fault.

Paul Smith will be replaced with a comb in the summer.

I believe he is injured. I think he has been in poor form and on the pitch when you watch him he doesn't look the type to take criticism well. Then again that is from watching him play and I don't know his actual character.

I think Davies wants to see more work ethic from him. I don't think he is out the plans at the club because he has soo much potential and so much talent to let him go would be an unwise move.

I think Garner is quality, of late he hasn't been good since BD has came in.
When he comes back from injury lets hope he discovers his form again.

Joe Garner will become one of those players that will get a thread in a few years saying "The one that got away...."

He has shown that he has the quality to become a very potant striker, I just hope for once we actually give a player the chance to develop and grow!

It would be ridiculous if Garner is missing out on playing because of some dumbass spat.

Ultimately he is a good player, one who should be ahead of the unbelievably bad Adam Newbold. Adam Newbold is the white Ali Dia.

I hope we see Garner playing again soon, roughing up opposition players and generally making a pest of himself. We need all the players we can get (except Joel Lynch who is pap) at this stage of the season.
