God I loved that Milan team, they were absolutely bloody brilliant.

Kaka was an astonishing player, a man capable of creating absolute magic from nothing, the kind of playmaker football should be about. An amazing team, Kaka was just a joy to watch, every single one of them was a World Class player and they worked well as a team(not something that can be said usually with several world class players)
Couldn't have picked a better photo to accompany it with "How the mighty have fallen" either![]()
The perfect blend of skill, power and sheer hard b*stardness. It must be one of the finest club sides ever assembled, or at least up there. I can't believe they didn't win more silverware - I suppose it shows you need a bit of luck sprinkled in too.An amazing team, Kaka was just a joy to watch, every single one of them was a World Class player and they worked well as a team(not something that can be said usually with several world class players)

Bid £15 million tomorrow, Forest, I dare youBreaking news: Mateta deal in doubt?
Jean-Philippe Mateta's move to AC Milan from Crystal Palace has been thrown into doubt ahead of Monday's deadline.
Milan are evaluating whether to progress with the transfer in this window, according to Sky in Italy.
Christopher Nkunku has made it clear to Milan that he wants to stay amid interest from Roma and Fenerbahce and the Italian club are concerned about having too many forwards in their squad.
An agreement was in place for Mateta to join Milan and Palace had given him the greenlight to complete a medical.
Palace were happy to let Mateta finalise the move after agreeing a deal with Wolves for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen for up to £48m.
It remains to be seen what knock-on effect this development with Mateta could have on Strand Larsen's move.
Oliver Glasner, speaking after Palace's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, said "it's either [Mateta] or somebody else" when asked if the striker was staying at Selhurst Park.
