He'd probably do better to keep his mouth shut than say stuff like that. Footballers get stick when they return to former clubs - deal with it.

Indeed, much as I like Ando he should've kept his trap shut on this.

He's not said anything malicious, I don't see why the swansea fans would give him stick, he's an ambitous player who has moved to a far bigger and prosperous club surely even those poor minnows can understand that?

Surely nothing needs to be said when you leave the place with three points.

It's not exactly unprecidented for a former player to be given a bit of stick, particularly when said player rejected a chance to remain/return there.

Its Fergie style mind games, he's just toying with them so the wheels come off and we beat them in the play offs.

It's never happened at Forest

Was about to make this point:

It's just sensationalist journalism
"I expected some stick, but not what I heard. It just came from some jealous fans" meant he was talking about the minority....

.....Then I read this

"But it proves I was right as we're a bigger club and higher in the league than they are."

:D :D

He's a Forest boy through & through, I'd probably say something similar if I was in that situation. I enjoyed reading that!

As good as it is to hear Anderson declare his passion and love for Forest, I really wish he hadn't done so at the expense of Swansea. The fact is that we won and took 3 points from a good team playing at home is enough.

I think it's fair to say that many players will receive unfavourable banter when playing against previous teams and the fact that Anderson responded as he did shows he still cares for his old club. His silence, I feel, would have spoken volumes.

That's fantastic! Why are people thinking he made the wrong decision saying that? For me it just shows how happy he is to be at forest.

Anderson has had his better games when under pressure or when the games have meant more to him.

If he thrives on the reaction of the opposing fans then I'm happy for him to be doing what he's doing but he has to realise he may not enjoy it so much when we lose. He's young though and I imagine if anyone at the club dislikes the way he conducts himself they'll tell him but I find it quite amusing. ;D

Anderson twice snubbed Swansea in favour of Forest, so therefore to expect a good reception was misguided and naive at best.

There is really no need to say what he has done, he would have been better off keeping quiet. He will not be the most popular man in South Wales to say the least now!

Anderson's inexperience is showing. He has to learn to take stick and taunting. If being called "daddy's boy" wound him up , he'll likely get it worse from opposing players and fans in the future.

At the end of the day he wasn't their player anyway - He was only there for a one season loan.

It isn't like he owed them anything - we stepped in 12 months later and offered him the same deal (a one year loan) which he accepted and the rest is history.

It's a case of "Fickle Fans" - every club as them and as far as the lads comments are concerned WTF - does it really matter? I think not.
