Jani Tanska

Is he any good?

I quite like these random Europeans we target, Moussi and Radi have served us well.

I haven't seen too much of him but Tanska is very good in the air and quite good at passing and one on one situations.

Sorry for my bad English.
It isn't bad at all, and if i'm being honest a little better than some on here!

Your English is superb.

Thanks for the info.

I wish my finnish was as bad as your english!

I'm begnning to think that anyone will do at the back for us at the moment. Joel Lynch must be kicking himself because, lets face it, this should be his big chance at centre half!

Can confirm this:

Vaasan ball club Jani Danish central defender in a few days to give some screens a traditional Championship club.
Danish Forest is a guest of 1 to 5. August, ie from Sunday to Thursday. In 1865, founded the club finished highest league trip to England last season and the third, but with a flexible battle Premiership place in addition to Cardiff City, Forest felled for Blackpool.
Forest is looking for the right to actively complement the locker Department. Young defender starts the trip with a positive mind.
- This substantial threat, it is good. Know the game quite nicely the past, if need to be invited to visit the camp.
Raamikkaalla team defender is not very comprehensive information, but over many years in Charlton man knows the way to play football.
- I know a few to me, but I am more than that. Tough team in the case. I have seen the Championship games, and I know what to expect from there.
Danish confesses to an English football as a friend.
- I've always liked the English soccer and physical struggle. I like it even still, the ball is played in the country. Nottingham from what I hear, yes they are trying to just play soccer. Picture of the English game as a mere long ball is a bit conservative, many teams play well. Vauhtihan hard there, of course, is and will be there as soon as rehearsals, to adapt.
Vaasan ball club coach Tommy Pikkarainen stress that the club wants to create its own network of international contacts. Denmark mobile test is one such opening of the head.
- We strive for an integrated approach to young players trying to provide opportunities in the international scene. We try to be monitored, which should be good through the contacts of interesting young players, because we want to help them forward.
Interest Pikkuhuuhkajien defenders point within a circle is enough. In winter, was a German-Danish club FC Augsburg test.

That clears it up then

After getting used to Raddy's blog, I quite enjoy these translations!

"Forest is looking for the right to actively complement the locker Department."

:hey:

Seen Tanska quite a lot two years ago, when he played for my hometown team here in Finland. And seen few of his games last season and this season aswell after he left our local team.

Back then it was easy to see the raw talent he had in him. He had just recovered from the bad injuries, which pretty much ruined it for him in Charlton, so he wasn´t playing even near his highest level two years ago.
This (and last) season he has been among the best domestic centre backs in finnish league.

He´s tall and very good in the air, physically prolly a bit lightweight for the championship, but that is something that can be improved (and has been improving over past few years). He can play the ball quite well, not a common hoofer one might expect from such a tall defender. He´s main downfall is his pace, he´s very slow on his turns and acceleration.
If you´d want to compare him to someone, there is a tad of similiarity in his playing style with Sami Hyypiä.

But tbh, I´m not quite sure he´d be good enough for Forest. Good enough for Championship level perhaps, but for a team (seemingly) trying to push for a promotion I have my doubts.
Though the situation with the central defenders at Forest at the moment is what it is and Tanska wouldn´t cost a fortune and his wages shouldn´t be problem either, so it could be a risk worth of taking.

I´ll trust on Billy to decide wether he is good nough for Forest or not.

Cheers for that mate, very interesting.

He sounds like someone who ideally would be signed as backup to the first team, but lets face it, we don't have that luxury right now do we.

Just google his name,if you look at first page of his name, said he played for charlton from 2004-07 or soemthink like that.

lets hope we sign him,if his trial alright.

Sign him up, Sign him up, 3 years at Charlton is more experience than the academy players have, I'll be happy even if we're only signing squad players.

so he has until thursday to prove he is good enough. would have been easier if he had played against swindon. oh well we could have a star on our hands
