James Perch

Tommy Durham

A. Trialist
....got into the team of the week in the sun!

Keep it up Perchy!

Good on him

Good on him. I've said it before and I'll say it again; while he was slagged off (mostly unfairly) by a large section of our fans he's now playing in the Premiership, something I think only Camp and Earnshaw have done?

Whether he got there by merit or because CC loves him is neither here nor there.

Best of luck Perch, I will look out for his performances for a while that's for sure.

Bit off topic but your comment got me thinking of our current squad who could 'make it' in the prem?

I'd say

Camp, Gunts, Bertrand, Cohen, Raddy and Dex

I think maybe Ando and Kelvin could possibly make it.

And anybody else could make it at Blackpool!

How the **** did Perch get in the Team of the Week? I watched the highlights of that game and didn't even see him. The commentators didn't even mention his name once. That is ridiculous... I think it's a tabloid conspiracy to try and wind up Billy!

Obviously I have been onto the Sun and they are on the way to Aberdeen as we speak for more quality input..
By the way, who is your latest Garibadi hate figure?????

Really? Dex most times couldnt hit a barn door ( based on recent perfomences, minus his 1 goal in however many games) Raddy possibly, but i highly doubt it, Cohen will never make it in the prem, and i mean as an established player, not someone whos gone up with a poor team and got relegated. Bertrand ive hardly seen play, but ive heard hes half decent so maybe, but not with chelsea as he wouldnt get a look in. kelvin could, hes big and strong and a very good player. i couldnt see ando in the prem, goes missing at times, something you cant do as a premiership player.

Camp hasn't played in the Premiership, at least not yet. Smith and Earnshaw definitely have and Gunter probably has at least some top flight experience from his days at Spurs.

Well done to the lad.

He did well enough for Newcastle against Villa (hey his team won 6-0!)

Always good to see ex-Forest lads doing well, especially those who've come through the academy.

.

I think thats your answer (I watched the highlights.....).

he might do us a favor and get in Steven Taylor's ear and tell him how good Forest are to play for :hey:

Ooh, well excuse me for having an opinion! Just seems to me that if you don't appear in the highlights of an exciting 6-0 game, let alone score or create a goal then it's odd that you make the sun's team of the week. But you're right, I bow down to the Sun and it's superior brand of journalism...

Oh, and for the record, I never hated James Perch or came on here slagging him off. I appreciated him for doing a job for us which he wasn't neccesarily cut out for. So bore off!

Who gives a sh@t just glad his not here

He'll have bad press than good that's for sure, awful player most of the time

Oh right, so he didn't make the TV highlights but he was still the best player on the pitch... then it IS a BBC conspiracy after all!

Maybe an unfashionable defender having a good game wouldn't make the highlights? I'm guessing that if Ashley Coal or Gareth Bail had good games and kept stopping their winger getting crosses over they might get some airtime.

They only way defenders can feature on the briefer highlight shows is by committing the foul that led to a goal or to one of the cards that got him sent off.

Camp, Gunter, Wilson, Morgan, Majewski, Cohen and Earnie are the only players in our squad currently that'd be able to make a decent fist of fighting off relegation from the Premier League.
