I think MacAtee will be a starting player under Glasner... until he delivers insipid performances like last season.
However, I saw him contribute well today, albeit against a L1 side.
I think we might just see the player we hoped to see when we bought him.
 
I think he’s a great player, he struggled to adapt last year being in and out of the team, playing out of position and you could see he was so used to playing with City standard players that the passes he was looking to make and receive just weren’t there. I think a full preseason, an arm around the shoulder and we could see him take a huge leap forward this year. Good news that he seems
To have worked on his strength and fitness too.

Bit of a do or die year for him IMO in terms of where does his career go. Is he a future England player, or is he a lower prem bit part player. We will see
 
I agree with Stanley that he is a great player who's been handled badly.
He should never have been taken off at half time (more than once) Talk about shattering someone's confidence.
When MGW scored his hat trick against Burnley, there were plenty calling for him to be subbed at half time as he was having a mare.
And stop comparing him to others, he is his own player.

In the unlikely event that James or his family are reading this thread, please know that all he needs to do to win over the Forest faithful is put in a few crunching tackles. It really is as simple as that.

Anderson understood it better than anyone. Morgan has done it plenty of times and it goes a long way.

Everyone had patience with Igor last season because he worked his socks off and got stuck in. I'm convinced that if McAtee shows a bit of grit then everything else will fall into place.

Maybe Guardiola taught his players that there's no value in this sort of thing, but at Forest you just have to do it.
 
McAtee might be a good player, tough to see that last season. After he joined we changed the manager three times, not exactly the best environment for a young player to develop in, which he still is.

Funnily enough it's through him that I met my wife. She had a promotions and media business in Manchester with her good friend. Martin actually became a DJ and he used their company to promote and run various events that he was doing as it could be anything from a proper set to fundraising events.

As my football career was tailing off at the likes of Farsley Celtic and Garforth and Ossett I got to know quite a few lads from the Rugby League scene as it's huge in that area. Often we'd end up in Manchester and quite a few of the lads knew Chariots.After several events of his, he pointed out to me that it would probably be worth my while having a drink later on with blonde with massive chesticles

Absolutely cracking guy and to the extent that he wanted to DJ the wedding for us. As much as he did a belting set, we insisted he just enjoyed himself as a guest. Three hours in he's trying to show the DJ how to mix sister sledge into phats and small haha what a guy.

The inside of our wedding rings is engraved with "Nowonz Perfect! following an old, old friend warning us never to forget that, and to tolerate and love each other's imperfections.
