As a matter of fact, the threads of Munoz, Schlager, Diomande and, indeed, Dan Ndoye need their countries to be added as well, as they are all internationals.Thread title needs the ...'Of Brazil' adding.
It's not Neco made his Wales debut in 2020 before he joined us and he has of WALES in his name.I thought the "of.." accolade was given when they made their international debut when at Forest
God, this international break is long
If that was the case, I doubt more than 3-4 of our current players would qualify.I thought the "of.." accolade was given when they made their international debut when at Forest
God, this international break is long
EDIT: scratch the above, I see Neco has it, and he made his debut when he was still at Liverpool.
Yes it damn well does.Thread title needs the ...'Of Brazil' adding.
I agree with the assessment. Solid. I thought we played well.Based on the available match reports:
For context, the 21-year-old Nottingham Forest defender had earned his first call-up after becoming a regular starter in the Premier League this season. [rotowire.com], [goal.com]
- He played the final 15+ minutes as a centre-back after Brazil had fallen 1-0 behind. [transfermarkt.com], [futbol24.com]
- Brazil pushed forward late and equalized through Rayan in stoppage time to salvage a 1-1 draw. [espn.com.au], [theguardian.com]
- Detailed player ratings for Jair were not published in the sources I found, so there is no verified assessment of his individual performance. [espn.com.au], [theguardian.com]
- Reports describing the match did not highlight any major mistakes or decisive actions by Jair, suggesting a relatively uneventful debut in which he helped Brazil see out the final stages before the late equalizer. [espn.com.au], [theguardian.com]
So the short answer is: a solid, low-key debut off the bench, with no standout errors and no major headline moments, as Brazil drew 1-1 after a late equalizer. [transfermarkt.com], [espn.com.au]
Surely it should be Brasil to give it the proper Portuguese spelling?Thread title needs the ...'Of Brazil' adding.
This is the sort of game Murillo should have been introduced in, not Argentina.Based on the available match reports:

The English spelling should change in this case. Brazil and Brasil would be spoken the same way, so makes no sense to "translate" it. Out of respect for the country in question should be no need to translate. But as for Deutschland, Espana and Norge.... Sounds very different and need to be "translated" ;-)The proper English spelling is Brazil. We don't do Deutschland, España etc so I don't know why it's Brasil here.
Plus murilloJair Cunha, like Socrates, Bebeto, Ronaldo, Jairzinho, Pele, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Clodoaldo, Carlos Alberto, Garrincha, Roberto Carlos, and many dozens and dozens of other brilliant footballers, represents the República Federativa do Brasil.
Not Brazil.
Brazilian football is in an even worse state than I thought if they're calling up League 2 defenders.Vitor Reis was their starting centre back, he’s played about 19 seconds in total for City this season. And Douglas Luiz was in the squad![]()
Add the legendary Scarpa to the list to.Plus murillo
Great to hear , but I still find it amazing how he even got called up from little game time for Forest last season and with him being so young, i'd thought it would have taken him a couple of good seasons with Forest to be a starter in the first senior team.JC starting v Australia in the next few minutes if anyone is interested.
Excellent progress for young Jair.Jair Paula da Cunha Filho (Jair Cunha) had a solid outing for Brazil in today's 4-2 win over Australia in Brisbane. He started at centre-back and played until the 87th minute before being replaced by Vitor Reis. [skysports.com], [xscores.com]
Based on the match reports available:
This was particularly notable because it was his second senior international appearance after earning his first Brazil call-up earlier this month while playing for Nottingham Forest. [ge.globo.com], [en.wikipedia.org]
- Brazil won 4-2 after being level at 2-2 at halftime. [skysports.com], [xscores.com]
- Jair was part of a defence that conceded two goals but then kept Australia scoreless for most of the second half as Brazil pulled away. [skysports.com], [xscores.com]
- He remained on the pitch for 87 minutes, which suggests coach Carlo Ancelotti trusted him throughout almost the entire match. [skysports.com]
- There are no goals, assists, cards, or major defensive errors attributed to Jair in the available match commentary. [skysports.com]
Overall, the available reports point to a steady, uneventful defensive performance rather than a standout display, with Brazil securing a comfortable victory. [skysports.com]
So.... Now young Jair has more games for Brasil than Murillo![]()
