Why is that?Bit of a wake up call for Murillo as well.

Best quartet of Centre Backs in the league! Couldn't name a team with better.
Glasner said "He did not come back from Brazil in the shape he should have come back in“Why is that?

Being thrown under the bus by Ancelloti was arguably the beginning of Murillo's issues last season, compounded by Dyche bringing him back from injury too early and also leaving him on the pitch whilst he was clearly struggling with injury.Glasner said "He did not come back from Brazil in the shape he should have come back in“
His younger teammate getting in the Brazil squad ahead of him when he was in it last year, is a bit of wake-up call is it not? Especially when his manager has said that and I think most would agree he hasn’t been at his best this season and a lot of last season.
I think Murillo is brilliant and one of my favourite forest players ever to watch. However, the demands of the premier league mean to consistently be at your best you have to basically dedicate your life on and off the pitch to football. Obviously I have no idea if he does or not but a quote like that from Glasner isn’t a great look!Being thrown under the bus by Ancelloti was arguably the beginning of Murillo's issues last season, compounded by Dyche bringing him back from injury too early and also leaving him on the pitch whilst he was clearly struggling with injury.
I'm not convinced that digging him out now does the lad any favours. He might be going through a bit of a rough time at the moment but he's still top, top PL quality on his day.
Dyche didn't think this lad was worth playing but only a few games into the season as a starter one of the best managers in the history of the game thinks he's worth a call up to the Brazil national side.
Congratulations Jair, what a good start he's had and long may it continue.

Or even five years ago. What an incredible notion this would have been 20 years ago
I am hoping he doesn't and makes it a week later here in Kolkata, where I am. Already got our tickets for the game.He is likely to make his Brazil debut in a fortnight in a fabulously unlikely location - the mining/industrial city of Townsville, north Queensland. Who'da thunk it?

I have a feeling that was before his time slightlyWas Glasner in charge of the South London club when Murillo took on their whole side and nearly scored?
The centre backs we have are probably the only definite part that 100% fit Glasner’s system from the little I know. Murillo is born to play that lcb role.Words are not actions.
If Glasner was truly concerned with Murillo, he wouldn't have let Morato go without a replacement and leave us with no naturally left footed centre backs apart from the guy who apparently he's thrown under the bus.
There may be some truth that Murillo didn't come back in the fitness required but I think that's Glasner just pushing him to be his best. I think Glasner knows Murillo is a gem.
Beautiful part of the world.A city called Townsville ?
I'm not sure they've thought that through.
No, that was under Cooper, before he was sacked and Glasner was briefly in the running to take over. Was Glasner in charge of the South London club when Murillo took on their whole side and nearly scored?
The jury is still out but it's not looking good for the gruff one.So let me get this straight. Are you implying Ancelotti is a better manager than Dyche?
It is. I went to Magnetic 'Maggie' Island from there and went Koala-watching.Beautiful part of the world.
Yeah Brazil were f***ing shit in the world cup, not to put too fine a point on it, despite having plenty of talent at their disposal. One of the best managers in the history of the game who failed to pick Joao Pedro for one of Brazil's worst World Cup campaigns.
Ancelotti isn't the genius many make out, certainly not anymore.
