Jacob Murphy

Can see the logic in having an option of an attacker/winger type player who can play wing back, especially if we are chafing the game. Saw some of Chelsea game and Neto plays so high and attacking as one of their wing backs. Don’t think Hutchinson has the physicality to do it.

If he's who Glasner thinks he needs then I am behind it. This is my philosophy this summer - in Glasner I trust. He tried to get McNeil to palace during his time there, so he has a history of going wingers who seem a bit rubbish on the surface.

Rather have Brian Murphy

Dont hate it. Gonna split opinion though this one

Maybe for the right side 10?

I don’t know anymore. Didn’t see the switch of N’Doye and MGW coming at the weekend which was a masterstroke, so if Herr Glasner wants Murphy, get him in.

I don't think Murphy seems rubbish on the surface, he is a good PL players that has proven himself over years now.

Newcastle have spent 3-4 years trying to upgrade him & he would always force his way back in ahead of players others deem better. He has played 40+ games in 3 of the past 4 seasons, he will be an ideal squad player for us & will absolutely push those ahead of him - he could also probably play in 3-4 positions.

I really don't see the logic in this one at all but I guess I'm just going to have to lump it.

Unless we spend £30m on him of course! :D

We can't buy every player as an automatic first team player. There have to be squad players who fulfil a need that Olly sees might be needed later in matches.

Also we buy older players to fill in whilst we buy the more expensive players we need more in a sensible consolidation of our playing resources and our financial obligations.
