Strange to turn down £15m really.
I think Jaissle just sees him as being an experienced squad member + useful for RW backup as I said on here yesterday. Pretty sure if we sold him, the average age of our squad would drop down to about 15.

So glad we didn’t spend £15m on him. That is ludicrous. I thought we were just gonna take on his contract and give him a decent last payday. I didn’t think we were gonna pay money for him, other than maybe a token amount.
I was uneasy spending £20m ish on Munoz as he is 30, but at least he is still an outstanding player who can hit the ground running, plays the system and is an international off the back of a good World Cup. £15m for Murphy, wow. Is that going by the Harwood-Bellis scale?
