I've looked on Ebay and I can report there are no footballers on a buy it now but....

Names that stand out are Aliadiere (injury-problems and a lack of consistency though), Wilfred Bouma (ex-villa LB/CB), Francis Jeffers (Don't bother), Benjani (useful experience?), Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (didn't know he'd been released), Anthony Capaldi (LB/LM, but past it?) and that's just from skimming the surface.

Half of those have signed with other clubs. The others are crap or injury prone.

Well then that just shows that the FA need to update the site after the deadline yesterday then

So you've looked at them all then Clifford? It's took me all morning to go through them all and you've done the lot in 30 minutes, Well Done

I Suppose you missed Jay Demerit, Well he only played 4 games at the world cup an easy miss I suppose

No I haven't looked at them all. I was replying to the post I quoted and refering to those players mentioned in that post.

I am confused. If a player wouldn't cost a bean in transfer fees, how will the transfer acquisition panel make a derisory offer?

Sylvio de Campos would have been a great signing. Arsenal, Barcelona and Man City left back. Same age as McKenna, but bound to be in twice as good shape.
