As much as I would love to get promotion, my head says that it would be a season too soon for us and we could end up doing a derby.

I'm going for mid-table / top 10 finish followed by more singings next summer and promotion as champions the following season!

What, going up by the skin of your teeth, NOT investing properly before the Prem season and embarrassing yourself once you get there? I'd much rather do what will come to be called a Forest. Get promoted by whatever means. Know that that alone is worth £30 million. Invest properly knowing your finances (thanks to ND) are sound and bloody well stay there. What I mean is that there is no such thing as too soon.

That poll seems very complicated in its definition. Please don't do another next week that starts: If Earnshaw scores our first goal where abouts in the 18 yard box do you think Camp will be positioned? Then we have the rest of the potential goal scorer and player positions to go through.
