It’s BALLY’S and ADIDAS (again!) and not KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

We HATE the Villa
I'm pretty certain that's legit. When they were first released I said they were both legit and had very valid reasons for saying it.

So when the home one came out and I saw it was that I'll now say I'm pretty sure the away is the leaked one.

I've actually seen a Chinese copy,so it had Kaiyun on the front, big looks a nice kit.
I certainly hope you're right Apollo

Looks better on the players than in the pictures.

Mentioned this on another thread but better here. The badge is in a shield because the 1992 kit this is based on had a shield around the badge.

I don’t recall anyone having an issue with it then but I guess there wasn’t any internet / social media then.
Whoops. Hit Like instead of Reply, so you’ve got a free Like there. 😉

Was wanting to say I remember disliking the shield intensely, but as you say I had no means of telling anyone who wasn’t within earshot. I also disliked it on the mid-90s shirt and I really disliked the black they foisted on two successive mid-90s shirts.

Apparently there was a few at the game with it on.

My lad likes the away top,not sure he'll be getting it as young boys and light tops aren't a good combination though [emoji1787]
Yes there were loads wearing it at the game today. For context, probably as many as there were last season when it was released before the Chesterfield game.

Can't Play Left-Back
The kit's just so busy, I really can't stand it. Pin stripes, Adidas shoulder stripes and a collar is way too much. Take one of those elements away and it would drastically improve it. The shield is ugly and clunky. I also hate the positions of the pin stripes and how one goes right through the middle of the badge (which is probably what necessitates the shield). I also hate that the stripes don't continue on the back so it looks like 2 different shirts sewn together (I know there's some rule of numbers have to be clear - but surely they could have blended it together better). It feels like a first draft that someone couldn't be arsed to refine. And it also doesn't feel like a Forest kit - as others have said, it's a Southampton or Aberdeen kit, maybe even a Lincoln kit. The only thing going for it is the lack of sponsor, which won't last. I liked the 92-94 kit, but it was of its time.

My favourite away kit of all time. Unfortunately for us it's got green on it so not a chance that Marinakis would allow it

Rio Ave wear green though. Surprised he bought them for that reason.

Could argue the collar on that away shirt is teal not green. I’d definitely buy one if adidas did a remake. Was absolutely ruined last time I bought one as I got Collymore on the back and we sold him about a week later!

The edge of the shield looks embroidered but not the tree itself. The embroidered badge is a must for me in terms of tradition, looks and laundering.

The busyness is growing on me by the day, I have to say.

We've had some pretty milquetoast kits over the last decade (the Football Index ones spring to mind), so at least this one has something about it.

Collymore!

Would anyone indulge me and photoshop out the inner line from the badge/crest, and the darker pinstripes, leaving just the while ones?

You’re right, the tree is that rubberised emboss rather than being stitched.

While I'm undecided on getting it or not, I'll wait until the others are out before I make a decision. That'll probably be at least another few weeks.
