It’s ADIDAS (again!) and not BALLY’s, not KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

As someone who is colour blind, it's all pretty much the same to me
I was diagnosed as colourblind the other day.
That was a bolt out of the purple I can tell you.
/obligatory

A green shirt with red trim sounds horrid.

Two colours that definitely don't complement each other, unless it's the Nottinghamshire flag or it's Christmas or Super Mario & Luigi.

If you're colourblind then it's ok!

The County flag of Nottinghamshire is this one:

The City of Nottingham doesn't actually have a flag per se, but the accepted symbol is the Mayoral Flag of the City which looks like this:

...and we are the City team....

Went to the Hundred yesterday at Trent Bridge so popped into the Forest shop on route - asked about the away kit and was told they think it might even be 2 weeks until launch. But I am unsure how much info the staff have.

Originals range looks very impressive in person I got a red hoodie - I got a size medium as they do seem to be a generous fit and I normally get a large.

The Home kit - personally not a fan to me it looks worse in person than the pictures did not think that was possible, will wait to see what the away kit and 3rd kit look like, hopefully an improvement.

Unless it has drastically changed since I saw it, that's still not it. The shade of green is wrong, the leaf pattern is wrong (though not miles off), and it's also missing the red trim.

Fair play to the club for keeping it under wraps so well.

The fact that you got green, trefoil and leaf pattern right means you did see a legitimate photo, so it will be interesting to see whether they've changed from red trim to white.

Any clues on the third kit, that seems to be a very closely held secret!?

Let's be honest the home kit is an abomination. MGW mentioned the away kit is v nice in the treehouse thing. Pins hopes on that one and the third
I'm not a fan of the home kit but I wouldn't call it an abomination, it's just a bit meh, whatever

I didn't like last year's pinstripes and shield either but it was at least a design; this season's shirt looks like something they came up with on the cheap at the last minute

Doesn't help that it looks like a tie died t-shirt I might have made in textiles at school either

Funny though that CHO mentioned in a tree house episode the away kit was purple! So maybe the green will be the 3rd kit.
Did he?! I know they were all saying it was a great shirt but missed him say the colour. 3rd/away as purple/green would give us plenty of change strips.

I suppose we'll have to wait until the 29th August at Anfield to finally see one of them unveiled...

Why either Forest or Adidas (or both) wouldnt be breaking their necks to have these out as soon as summer starts is beyond me. I wouldnt buy one personally but they must miss out on some serious revenue by faffing about. I'm sure bigger clubs have priority but some of them are in the new kit before the previous season ends...which is ridiculous in itself but it shows it can be done.

The way it turns out now is some of our kits are only actually available and used for around 9 months.

One of Forest and Barcelona have to wear an away shirt at the weekend you'd think.

Barcelona have released a black and blue away kit and haven't worn it yet. But would make sense for Forest to launch another shirt at this friendly. And we are the designated away team according to Opta...if that means anything at all.

No better exposure than having people walk around in the summer in the new shirts. People on holiday in all corners of the world.

Not sure why we are so rubbish at this.
I think they always leave it as late as possible to try and get the new sponsor on the shirts , but no one ever wants to sponsor us straight away 😄

Saying that, I noticed the Forest B team played Gamba Osaka in a recently pre-season friendly and they are sponsored by Panasonic , we used to be sponsored by them in the 80s and it would be great exposure for them if they were to sponsor us again.

"they must miss out on some serious revenue" - I think it's probably the opposite. They'd miss out to a greater extent if they released all the shirts at the same time because each shirt would "cannibalise" sales of the others.

They want to maximise sales of all 3, so they give each one a window of a few weeks. Their aim is for people to buy the home shirt, then see the away one and think "I wish I'd got that instead!", then do the same when the 3rd kit comes out - a bit of FOMO so they end up buying multiple shirts when maybe they'd only planned to buy one.

If you had 2 or all 3 to choose from in relatively quick succession I imagine they'd lose a good chunk of sales with people only picking their favourite. Of course they could make each sales window longer, and make the most of people going on summer holidays, if they released the home shirt a bit earlier.
