United supporters getting excited because Jurrien Timber's (their big transfer target) agent is in Manchester, but Timber's agent is also Kabore's agent...

Timber is not convinced to leave Ajax at the moment for somewhere he may not get regular playing time because it might jeopardise his place in the Dutch squad.

(From our colleagues in Amsterdam).

Few suggestions that it will be a permanent deal with Man City including a buy back clause

I don't think it would be a loan. I don't think Man City have any intention of keeping him. For them this is the multi club ownership model working perfectly. They buy him for City, loan him to their other clubs - he increases in value and they sell him to help Man City with FFP.

They will sell him with a buy back probably just to cover themselves if he turns out to be good enough to make their first team.

That is exactly how City roll; and yet folk still wonder how they can bankroll signings of the calibre of Erling Haaland and still get under FFP.

If that's based on me posting it on here the other day it's just an assumption based on what City have done with those types of transfers in the past, nothing concrete.

This kid looks rapid. Similar to Spence but his crossing delivery appears far better, in fact I'd say it looks excellent.

What are we thinking the fee for him would look like.

Surely they can’t be asking much more than what was paid for him
