Is the club shop open on bank holidays?

Anyone know? I still find it staggering they don't open on Sundays when there's no match (and indeed that we don't have a shop in town).

Not having a shop in town is madness. Fester had one in Loughborough until fairly recently and when I went to Cork I was able to get a shirt from their town shop!

But back to your question: I've no idea.

Leicester have a club shop in part of a toy shop in the centre... funny, but rather clever if you think about it.

Even Kettering Town have a shop in the shopping centre!

It really is surprising Forest don't have one in the Vic Centre or something. It'd be highly convenient and you'd assume successful too.

Wasn't it in the tourist information centre behind the left lion ? I used to go in there regularly. They stocked Forest / County and Panthers stuff. I can't believe they got rid !

Magson's got a selection of merchandise in the back of his ford Cortina. Look for the gold one in the wanderers car park with the plastic bag over the rear qtr window !

I can't believe you're STILL being delusional.

It's a public holiday.

Lots of people are off work, and are, therefore ABLE to get to the club shop, and perhaps extra keen to do so, especially following the fun and pleasure of the weekend, and what with the new Away shirt being available suddenly, and all that.

We all know that Forest is a first rate business, customer-focussed, and keen to maximise their profit.

Of course the bloody shop'll be shut.

Would it be terribly patronising to suggest that you call them in the morning and ask the question?

Yes? Ok then, I'll shut up then. :D

...and of course Forest will have a modern, informative, customer-oriented webshite that could be useful for - I don't know - telling customers whether or not the place'll be open on the Bank Holiday...

...but they don't.

It tells me that it's open 9-5 normally, but nothing about tomorrow...

Woo, it does say you can order online.....

The Nottingham Tourist Information Centre did indeed stock Forest, County and Panthers merchandise at one point but there was also a shop called Nottingham City Sports at the opposite side of the Council House (round the corner from the right lion). It opened in the late 1990s and stocked Forest, County, Panthers and Notts County Cricket Club products. It was intended to be a joint venture but I recall it being extemely under-publicised and very Forest-orientated (not a bad thing in my eyes!). It only lasted for a couple of years which was unfortunate as it was in the most central location possible.
