I thought Paddy Kenny showed how to organise a defence on Saturday - Leek Amp just bellows at people and time wastes.

I for one think we should sign Paddy Kenny to push Leek Amp in to performing better, no competition for a starting place is crazy.

hes just been named in the team of the week lol

One of those 'amazing saves' on saturday he could easily have caught, but it must have looked world class from the bridgford end. The header, he was just show boating putting it around the post.

is this what our season has come down to?

now we are not in the top six lets pick our team apart and asked if they really are good players. I await the is robbie earnshaw past it thread

Kenny is an awful goal keeper, I cant for the life of me understand how he has kept so many clean sheets this season. The save from McGugan was luck rather than judgment and he sisnt organise his defence well at all. When we put him under pressure he dropped the ball but was lucky it fell to a QPR player and his distribution was shoddy.

QPR have kept so many clean sheets because they were solid and organised at the back. How many chances did we have? I can only remember that McGugan one.

Meanwhile, we're conceding sloppy goals because we can't mark from set pieces.

Don't compare the keepers, compare the defending.

Camp is the best keeper in the Championship.

Kenny is an overweight doper. *

(* in my opinion)

You're right.

Paul Smith is much better.

So how come it's not our defence giving Camp too much to do?

From what I've seen, most of those goals conceeded from set pieces have been plonked right in the corner of the net from 6-12 yards out. Very few, if any, keepers would save those.

As for our chances against QPR, we had a few but they were mostly off target. We got at their defence quite a lot but wasted the final ball as usual.

A lot of their chances were long range and the saves Camp had to make, he made sure the ball went away from danger. I'm surprised nobody has pointed out that one against Swansea he parried out into play and the rebound was well finished.

The thing is, people persistently praised Camp for his ability to take crosses, and used this as direct criticism of Smith. Now Smith has been out of the picture for some time the 'you're not Smith' factor is beginning to wear off and people can see faults in his game.

Maybe soon they'll stop pretending Smith couldn't kick a ball, and realise that Camp shanks a lot more out of play than Smith ever did.

Camp is a fine goalkeeper, no doubting that. He has the raw talent to go all the way to the top, but perhaps lacks the discipline. His game improved vastly when he first came here. He doesn't seem to be improving anymore, which is a real shame.

Last season he staked a real claim for being the best in the Championship. On this seasons performances I wouldn't put him in top 5. Hopefully he'll turn it around, though. As I said, he has the raw ability, no doubting that. He's also very young, so has time on his side.

Camp is a great keepers. Its difficult to keep getting better and better. Eventually your progress will slow down. He's still amongst the best in the league and has, to the best of my knowledge, never been at fault for a goal (except maybe Blackpool's 1st at the CG). We expect too much, but you cannot fault him for our inability to defend crosses. Literally every goal we have conceded has been a cross or a freekick whipped in. Getting beyond a joke

Sadly our defence is crap without Wilson in there. This has been shown this season by the lack of Wilson and the flow of goals into our net.

He is a lot younger than you realise actually, especially for a keeper. If he can keep fit and look after himself which I'm sure he will he has the best part of 15 years left.

Do you think Camp is suffering from not having an experienced and similar ability keeper on his tail like he did last year Rich?
