nah i only pop on here now + again.. I havent a clue on this deal..id be lyin if i said i did.. I assume its a season long loan.. But is a v.gd source, i ave my fingers + toes xed 4 any decent left back!
 
What does the J stand for?
 
He was very good as a kid at Villa. They used to rave about him. Was tipped by a few to be a future England player. Seems to have gone off the boil recently but so did Shorey apparently. You don't become a bad player overnight. Would be a very good loan signing with a view to perm. Could be a gunteresque type signing if true.
 
If a bolton in threat of relegation don't want him he must be great sign him up
 
I always thought he was a decent left-back. He was called up to the England squad in 2004 by SGE, so obviously had something about him.

He now plays international football for Trinidad and Tobago, though, as he never played for England.

Played 70 games in two and a half seasons for Bolton and has only been replaced by Paul Robinson at the Reebok this season.

Reckon he'd be a decent loanee if we were to get him and I think he'd be worth looking at permanently should we go up.
 
Apparently he's pretty much third choice for his position behind Robinson and Sam Ricketts.

Seems plausible.

I think his name is Jlloyd, so it's all one word.
 
I think it's spelled " J'lloyd " if I recall rightly. Had early appearances for England youth set-up but never actually played for England proper. Has joint nationality with Trinidad & Tobago.

What's the Source for this one? Not seen any mention of it elsewhere.

Ripped off Vital basically. Some guy called John Mark who has since thrown his toys out of the pram for being doubted.

Famous, vital is nothing to do with me, ive just heard he is in talks with us.. That is it full stop, i know nothing more or less mate. I am sure time will tell.
 
Don't even rate Robinson at Bolton who Samuel is behind in the pecking order, I don't think Samuel is very good,but would be a better option at left back than Perch.Sadly in the loan Market,there's just not going to be many decent left backs avaliable and it will be a case of taking who we can now.
 
would be a good player in the Championship and certainly better than what we have.
