Im going to miss commons.

i know i should be angry that hes gone to derby but im more sad than anything.

he was our best attacking player. :(

had a cracking left foot.

i think we may struggle without him.

For six games a season he was.

Certainly he was our most overly creative presence, which is now a glaring gap in the side unless McCleary and Davies step up to a much higher extent than I expect them to.

If the likes of Whittingham or Anderson prove to be representative of the type of player we actually end up signing, then I won't be disappointed.

Who are you ? his brother or something. He was not and his performances did not warrent a regular first team place in a third division side. Omerod had a greater influence on the side this season and he only played 12ish games.

I would have like to see Commons play for us in the Championship, in spite of his three seasons with us in League One being little to shout about, I remember watching him against Rotherham in our relegation season and recalling him as being the best thing on the pitch that game.

He's gone now, shame it's to Derby, but I think it shows Derby's lack of ambition as opposed to Forests; there is no way Commons is good enough for a promotion battle and if we can replace him with a better left winger then credit to us.

Also noticable in there is talking about how he prefers to be on the wing where he belongs. Got to say I can't see Paul Jewell fannying around with him anywhere else than where he belongs can you?

Spot on, he will be played in his natural position at Derby, so with that in mind, combined with the fact he needs to win over 30,000 supporters, you may see his performances improving.

How Ironic coming from "Van Hooijdonk" another money grabbing player. Although PVH was an awesome dead ball specialist, the only man who comes close to beckham's free kicks.

David '1 in 100' Beckham? The man was awful at free-kicks!

We signed McCleary for 25k and I thought he played so much better as for our best attacking player for me it would have to be McCleary again. Bennett looked more threatening when attacking because he had so much more commitment than Commons.

Nick.

Once known as Nick.Doyle.nffc on 'ere.
I can handle the fact of him going for a new challenge, but not to the local rivals.
His first season here he was immese, he could score from 40 yards If he wanted to.
But this last season, he couldnt be arsed. Afew moments of magic thats it, shame as he such a great player when he wants to play.
Stoke fans said excately the same thing we say about him now " He's greedy."

I've always thought that commons on his day is a quality player, And a match winner! Think that we have lost the player that created most of attacking threat, from the wing/middle that suppled the strikers!!
But in sayin' that, i still feel pissed off, Common$ you've committed the worst act of betrayal you can imagine by becoming a Sheep.

Greggs in West Bridgford will miss him. He was a huge source of their income.
