Further to the disappointment of tonights result, l want to simply congratulate Nottingham Forest and Billy Davies on everything that we have achieved this season.

It's been a roller coaster and not without criticism but considering where we were and how far we've come is admirable and commendable by anyones standards.

We will continue to build upon the foundations we've laid and Billy will be the one to lead us over the summer into next season.

New season, new challenge.

With the smallest squad this season we have:
- Beaten the two best teams in the league
- Beaten both our rivals with style
- Gone on a 19 game unbeaten run
- won 17 out of 19 at home
- played football that was praised across the country
- been given some unbelievable highs that were long overdue

While it's heartbreaking, we've got a huge platform to build on and can be proud of our season. I said I'd be happy with 10th and we bettered that by 7 places.

Fair play to Blackpool, they were by far the better team over the 2 legs. Davies and the players largely made it easier for them then it should have been but take nothing away from them.

This is really sour medicine to swallow again. It's been a fantastic season but had we shown some real ambition it could have been so much more.
