If you are going to moan - stay at home!

Tomorrow is going to be a tough game

Good Opposition

We have a depleted team

We have lost two on the bounce

Billy's Honeymoon period is over

There will be a danger that the moaners and boo boys start on the team

If they do, and they are sat next to you, tell them to shut the f**k up and not to bother turning up next time. I would rather the CG be half full of supporters who encourage the team!

We are in this together so lets all get behind the team

You Reds!

I won't be moaning or shouting or even cheering, I've still got a sore throat from Wednesday. If you see someone in BC upper just politely clapping when we score that will be me.

totally agree. I hate this negativity that creeps in the minute we concede a goal, and given a tough midweek game and an extremely depleted side there's every chance we'll be facing an uphill battle again. Don't underestimate our power as fans to influence the game. 100% Support please or don't bother. We're not champions of Europe any more, get over it.

I sit with my niece and if we hear the moaners and tutters we always turn round to give em the glare first. then if they continue we tell em. I was at Rotherham a couple of years back with my niece and there was a complete nobhead behind uttering profanities all through the game. He was a big baldheaded bloke but really obnoxious. He was venting his spleen and people were looking at him but saying nothing. As the whistle went for full time, much to Forest Jonnies horror (he was sitting with us)my niece with a rage as fiery red as her face told him in no uncertain terms to stop at home in future and why bother coming if he couldnt show any support. Everybody then nodded in agreement and shuffled off.

I'll be happy with a draw tomorrow.

I really hate saying that, but with all the injuries I think it'll be a tough game.

i see your point but sometimes its frustrating. i dont boo etc but i do have a tendency to moan from time to time because sometimes its simply not good enough. if i pay 20-25 pound a time to watch and its awful i feel its only normal to moan. but yes i see your point. booing is out of order

I've never booed the Forest players, but I must say I came pretty close on Boxing Day.

Surely the only reason anyone goes to football is to have a good moan? :nowink:

Come on Forest bounce back please.
also why cant the stewards be like Wednesday every match......
allow us to stand and sing but still safety conscious by observing at the front?

Good post Waverley. Sometimes I do understand people having a moan, but constantly booing is not helping anyone.

It's gonna be tough tomorrow

You can't clap in the BC! Keep it down, some of us might be trying to sleep!

I think u will find the ones who spend 90 minutes constantly moaning are doing so because its the only chance they get all week, The're normally at home under their missus's thumb too scared to say boo to a goose. :w**ker:

gotta agree i have played semi pro for a while and no matter where i played i get stick, i have long-ish hair my mates call me jonny borrell (Front man of the razorlights) but supporters normaly go down the root of jipsy, gengus(Keith millers dog off eastenders) i do get the '' wheres ya caravan wheres ya caravan'' but they do pay there money so i guess they have some sort of right to hammer the away players.

i know, but they pay money and i guess they think they have the right to moan, i totally agree with people at the minute we could really do with just support, we dont need to go down the same we was a month ago.

there is a time and place to be doing all that and i think this is not the time.

We need to get behind the lads no booing at half time and all that crap there going through a difficult patch with injurys at the moment, our support could make all the diffrence!

I know that watching Forest can be frustrating, but do me a favour, at tomorrow's game - when you feel frustrated (because at times tomorrow I guarantee you will be) stand up and at the top of your voice shout very loudly NNNNNNNOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTingham, Nottingham, Nottingham......
or CCOOOOOMMME On YOU REDS - someone around you will join in with you, others will look at you like you have two heads (but f*ck them!) but at least you can go home, look yourself in the mirror and know that you have done all you can to back your team!

Start moaning, and if we loose, you can go home look yourself in the mirror and say I helped with that defeat

Up to you

Quit the moaning!

Many people go to watch the football to get away from the moaning! ::)

i sit in capital 1 corner and for as long as i can remember the 5 or 6 people who sit behind me do nothing but moan. i know everyone is intitled to their opinon but it is litterally every game wether we have won or lost. never anything positive or supportive. it winds the S**T out of me because if people put as much effort into supporting their club as they do moaning and whinging about it, then we could make the city ground a fortress not a place where the players clam up and do not play too their full potential. i just dont understand why people pay out all that money for a season ticket to come along and moan moan moan! i would be the 1st one to say i love to see the city ground full to the rafters but if you are going to come with a negative unsuportive attitude then stay at home!

Waverley 9 and Mikeboy have both got good points. I've posted before about this and have been told that if you pay your money, you're entitled to moan. Of course you are - moan them onto defeat, make them lose all their confidence etc. OR cheer them onto victory. Your choice. Moaners - stay at home. I just wish we could multiply our away SUPPORT by 4 or 5 and make up our crowd with them. Sheff Wed away - unbelievable. Cov away - brilliant. Man City Away - Palace away - need I say more. Positive support will give us our best chance to get a good result, especially while we're so squad-thin. Stay home moaners!!!!!!!!!!

I sat in my dad's seat for the Derby game and the guy behind me was just moaning and moaning at OUR players ALL GAME. And I thought I shouted a lot (at the ref and other team) but this guy was like a broken record.

Every time our defence had the ball he would shout "panic, panic, panic" and such like. I turned round and said... mate, they only start to panic because people like you get on their backs straight away.

It's so extremely obvious to anybody watching, the effect negative vibes from supporters give to the players, so I don't understand why people do it.
